And we need to stop your RBs (LSU did a great job of running Jhill against our D).

Maty Mauk

Video game-like numbers from high school. I think he still holds the high school passing and total yardage records. He accounted for something obscene, like 23,000 yards of total offense in HS, with over 5,000 of that rushing.

The entire world saw LSU pieces of sh1t stomp on a gator's head after he lost his helmet in the pile then another one of your scumbags ripped our QB's helmet off while he was down in the pile.

I didnt see it, but I was at the game and could have missed it.

Uf if the biggest Thug school in the SEC and has been since Urban was there. Yall either lead the conference or damn near lead it in penalties since muschump arrived. Your program has no discipline and that #7 bitch was running his mouth before the game ever started.

We shut his arse up though.

The running game might have actually gotten a spark with kelvin Taylor playing well when Matt jones went down against LSU last week.

UF's OL has been pretty bad this year. The WR's are OK, but nothing special. If you miss a tackle on Patton he can score, cause he's small and fast. Dunbar is a solid possession guy. And Burton can cause you problems in the middle of the field.

Murphy is mobile and makes good decisions.

UF seems to have found a kicker, so they have that going for them.

Basically, if Mizzou can stop the run, they will win the game, because if UF is in obvious passing situations, Mizzou's pass rush is going to send him to an early grave.

UF's defense WILL keep them in the game to the very end.

I think this is how all the Mizzou fans feel as well. Just not sure what to expect from Mauk. More playmakers on this team than there were last year. All three runningbacks can take it to the house at any point. But Florida will be the best defense they have faced all season.

Mauk just has to avoid the turnovers and not try to do too much. He has to be patient. We're not going to score every possession and he has to understand that and not try to do too much simply because we didn't score 4 possessions in a row. Get a couple first downs, play field possession, avoid the turnover and score when it comes.

meh, he's at least made an effort at least to make something happen even when things broke down. Several instances during LSU where he could've been sacked immediately, but at least escaped at got rid of the ball

I agree, but it is not something a defensive coordinator is losing sleep over. I think Florida is focused on using him more of a pocket passer, but needs time to develop. They are trying to protect him with these short passes, and that is understandable considering the pass protection.

Seems like if they could roll the pocket out and give him some more intermediate throws, because in the LSU game he just never even attempted to hit open guys downfield. Still the coaches know what they have in defense and who knows if it's them not allowing him to make a mistake or he honestly is not there yet.

Florida is terrible on offense. Murphy looks pretty lost if he can't make the throw on his first read. Of course it doesn't help if your pass protection stinks. Still he is going to try to beat you with 5 yard passes, and has not shown much playmaking ability outside the pocket. Still early, but he is a junior already.

A Junior who took his first ever snap in college 4 weeks ago.

His play is 10x that of what Driskel gave us, and he makes better decisions.

He doesn't turn it over (although LSU dropped 2 sure INT's and 1 maybe INT Saturday), and thats really all I want drop the QB position at this point.

He does throw the ball very well down the field and intermediately... when he has time and when Pease decides to...

Serious question, How is Mizzu's defense?

Good at making plays, bad at being consistent. I'm not sure UF will pass enough for Mizzou's D to be really disruptive. Mizzou's pass rush with 3 or 4 DL is very lethal.
