Their LT, #70, is really shitty and they seem to have no true playmakers. Murphy isn't a bad QB but sort of incredibly for a state school in a skill talent rich state, they have no one who scares you really.

Our starting QB is out of the year - the backup is a better decision maker but we won't know how good he is until he's not running for his life every play because of the turnstiles

We feel your pain, roadGator. Our OL last year was decimated, and whether it was Franklin or Berkstresser behind them - it's tough to play that position when you'd dodging bullets from the defense.

If your line is having issues, our DEs can make Murphy have an unpleasant day. But on the other hand, your defense will be he best we've faced by far, and our QB will be getting his first start. That's rough for a young player.

Should be interesting, for sure.

Hopefully your QB plays just like Brandon Allen did against us.

Hopefully.

How is Mizzu's defense?

probably the second best in the East, and they have the best DT in the league. For the second year in a row, oddly enough.

It's not the DTs that are so strong, it's the DEs. We rotate 4 guys into that spot, and they're all good. Our LBs are decent. Our secondary is poor. Our tackles can get torched up the middle sometimes.

Our defense is opportunistic, and has forced a turnover in 36 straight games. I think we're 2nd in scoring defense in the SEC, or at least we were last week. Overall, the defense has been a pleasant surprise so far.

If we lose to Missouri with another abysmal offense performance while playing conservative again, I'm all for firing Pease on the spot.

The above has nothing to do with Mizzou and is not meant to jab Mizzou. It just tells me that Boom doesn't believe in Pease so let's just end it.

I want to see us run the Boise offense and if we lose, we lose. I can't even watch us play any more. It's too darn boring.

Kelvin Taylor Patton- Starting WR Burton Slot WR The OL-both good and bad

these are damn good players that could step up and bite ole mizlou. LSU manned burton really good this past week but i'm not sure if mizlou can do that. taylor's a chip off the ole block and you OL is pretty damn good at run blocking. also, some of the sacks we got were not on the OL.

i think the whole key to this game offensively for y'all is giving murphy some time to find someone to throw to in between hammering them with taylor. it seems noone thinks the gators will win but i do.

Muschamp is a good coach. I know he's known for his defense, but there is no excuse for Florida to have an anemic offense. And that's not meant as a jab at all, but you're surrounded by 5* talent.

I think Murphy can be a very good QB and Taylor, their best back, will actually start (I think). The problem might actually be Pease and playcalling. Murphy only attempted 4 passes longer than 10 yards 4 times. He hit 3 and should have had 4 with a better throw. If the OC trusts his QB and opens it up, this could be a pretty good O...not with A&M/UA/LSU etc., but a pretty good O. Plus of course, a top notch D.

We have to fight Miami, FSU, OSU, LSU, Bama, UG, Clemson and others for that talent. It all doesn't line up at the door begging to get into UF.

This is the part that worries me about Boom. We have tons of PT available. Recruits love immediate PT. Boom doesn't love to play FR it seems. Recruits see that. Where da recruits?

He'll have to get over that. Miles plays a lot freshman because the best guys are leaving after 3 years. It isn't like the old days. With 7-on-7 camps and year round training, top notch freshman can come in ready to contribute.

The only thing I'm excited about Saturday for the UF offense is seeing Kelvin Taylor getting a lot of pt.

I have no confidence in our OLine pass blocking against Mizzous DL. Murphy will be running for his life all day long.

The entire world saw LSU pieces of sh1t stomp on a gator's head after he lost his helmet in the pile then another one of your scumbags ripped our QB's helmet off while he was down in the pile.

You recruit players that other teams kick off. Shut your whore mouth with your "thug" accusations.

Are the OL issues why the passing game is primarily screens and out to the flat. Murphy was successful throwing intermediate...just didn't do it much.

Florida is terrible on offense. Murphy looks pretty lost if he can't make the throw on his first read. Of course it doesn't help if your pass protection stinks. Still he is going to try to beat you with 5 yard passes, and has not shown much playmaking ability outside the pocket. Still early, but he is a junior already.

However, Florida does have good between the tackles run game and could really grind some games out. So they could play ball control.

Their pass rush is not nearly as good without Floyd and are a little small at the point of attack. Still have elite athleticism in the secondary.

That's my biggest concern with a RSFR QB getting his first start.

We need our RBs to have a big day.

I think the Mizzou secondary has actually looked better against the two better teams we have played so far. My biggest concern is right up the gut. The tackles do not get a great push and have been moved off the ball easily. I feel like a majority of the yards Mizzou gives up is right there in the middle. The DE's have been fantastic against the run and with pass rush.

meh, he's at least made an effort at least to make something happen even when things broke down. Several instances during LSU where he could've been sacked immediately, but at least escaped at got rid of the ball (got a few completions and some rushing yards in those situations as well).
