UA hit a homerun with this hire. But let's not make it sound impossible for a top tier program to screw up a HC hire.

Still a Louisiana prospect though. Landon Collins is another example. Brandon Bolden grew up in Baton Rouge.

Yep. Probably a few others too. LSU has also grabbed up a lot of stud CBs from Florida, And elite talent from Texas. No one is sayin LSU doesn't have to worry about poachers, but losing a player or two a year is different from having two other high profile football programs in the same state.

Brandon Bolden was a three star athlete from Scotlandville HS. LSU offered him a scholarship to play LB. But he wanted to play tailback. Not really our fault.

What's funny is in the same class Ole Miss offered Steven Ridley as a LB, but he chose LSU's RB offer. Granted his hometown is also LSU country.

Move Auburn down a level and that looks good. I mean, we passed on 2 of Auburn's last 3 coaches, so their recent hires wouldn't suggest Auburn as a top-level job.

Don't lump JHS in with Sanford and Kyle Field

You are a fricktard of the highest dimension and should be tarred and feathered. Univ of New Jawsey @ Coral Gables? Are you crazy? They are almost bankrupt, no campus stadium and no freaking fan base. Watch the games with Wake, Duke, NC State etc etc...you can spray AK47s all over "their" stadium and not hit a soul.

Well we know this just happened with LSUs best coach and he chose A&M.....
So the list is sheet

Having to mistate what happened and then calling it a fact is a sign of obsession. What we all know is that Chavis specifically left LSU because it didn't offer him the same contract as A&M.

All LSU, all the time.

Florida is so far out of place in that list. Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and LSU are all without question better jobs. Florida's facilities are pretty shitty right now, their AD refuses to put money into them IIRC.

Have you actually been to or seen the facilities or are you just going off what a few reporters have said? They are far from shitty which certainly makes me think its the latter.

Foley puts money into facilities, he just doesn't believe in running up $250 million in athletic debt, that's not the way we operate.

Wait- so "having to split a talent rich area" downgrades Florida (which keep in mind has a lot more talent than Alabama in terms of total recruits) but doesn't do the same for Auburn or Alabama?
