Can we finally debunk this BS narrative? It isn't even top 5 in this conference. This is how my list would go.

1. LSU
2. Georgia
3. Alabama
4. Auburn
5. TAMU

LSU/Georgia being ahead of Bama because they're the only big school with tons of support in the middle of talent rich states, so they ideally would get to cherry pick the best talent in the area. (which makes you wonder why neither has been able to do what Alabama has done, and also makes what Saban/Malzahn has done more impressive.)

Florida splits the talent pool historically between Florida State/Miami, and the only time they win is when they have a ridiculously good head coach that could win anywhere. Additionally, their facilities are well below par......I mean, there's a reason the best they could get was Jim Mcelwain( and no, he wasn't there first choice gator faithful, stop fooling yourselves). You might make the case that Florda is a better job than TAMU, but recently the Aggs have capitalized on the failings of their arrogant older brother in Austin and pretty much taken control of Texas, so i'd say TAMU is better.

Alabama is the only job in the SEC that's better. Explain to me what LSU, UGA, Auburn and TAMU have over Florida?

I'm talking in the abstract, by both potential and over a long period of history. Alabama is probably better than both LSU/Georgia now, but i'm not so sure it is in 5 years when Saban is doing College Gameday.

I'll bite.

1st You're higher than giraffe pussy, craig.

2nd Florida is a top 3-5 job in the nation (Even with no facilities)

3rd When they're not being a complete dumpster fire it's the best job in the SEC. (Even with no facilities)

4th Kill yourself

The Swamp is more intimidating than Sanford, Jordan-Hare and Kyle Field. Florida also has multiple national titles and heisman winners in recent memory compared to those programs.

LSU and Florida are close but Florida is still better because they're in a hot bed for recruiting.

Arguing that Florida isn't a top 5 job in the nation is plausible. Florida is undoubtedly a top 5 SEC job.

Unless they shite the bed and hire Kirby Smart or Lane Kiffin, Alabama is going to get someone that will keep their success going.

This, in addition to extremely talent rich States pretty much to themselves, with both populations completely bought in. I mean I purposefully ignored Georgia Tech for a reason. There are 4x more Georgia fans in the city of Atlanta than their are Tech, and Georgia isn't losing talent to Tech, nor is LSU losing talent to a regional school.

So dumb. So, so dumb.

Even for an alter thread, this is bad.

How many other programs can say a NFL head coach left his job in the middle of the season to come coach their team? How many can say the HC of top team in a power 5 conference coming off a conference championship left to be their team's HC?

Only one can say both....

1. Alabama
2. Arkansas
3. TAMU
4. Georgia

I know some will laugh at Arkansas, but who else hired their current coach away from a top-10 P5 school? The one before that was hired away from a NFL team.

Louisiana has some great recruits every year but it's not like there's 10 five stars all going to LSU. When Meyer was at Florida he had the state of Florida and Georgia locked down in recruiting. No other state in the SEC (except Texas) can come close to producing the talent Florida does.

Give a coach the exact same contract to each of those schools, add in Florida, and see what order he picks them in.

This.

We had this thread awhile back, and I think the consensus top 5 jobs in the country were something like Ohio St, Bama, USC, Florida, and Texas in no particular order.
