Underwhelming hire for Florida considering their perceived place in the basketball universe. I'd love to know who all said no because I doubt White an A lister for Foley. Having said that, Archie Miller would have been my first choice for Bama and White my second among college coaches. It's a risky hire. It'll either pay off big time or he will set UF basketball back years. I think he will be successful there. Maybe not Donovan successful but he will win. Will that be enough for Gator Nation now that Eddie Munster spoiled them?

Not underwhelming by any stretch of the imagination, but everyones entitled to their own opinion. Also this was Foley's guy the whole way. Never even contacted Miller or mack.

I think White was the first choice given the quick time frame. We just had the Donovan farewell press conference on Monday, so this is a very quick move.
That said, Miller may have been a non-starter. Some talk that he was thinking he would get near $3 million per year and that was never going to happen, he's not worth that kind of money.
