That sounds familiar. Very much like Harsin and the Alabama coaches.

My daughter friend just chose Michigan after being heavily recruited by Florida. I think the idea is create the relationships with the area coaches and maybe there is not someone there now. But build that bridge for future recruiting.

There is no link it was on the local radio. I assume they make copies of their shows for podcasts.

Better calm down and stop being such a puss or we are going to have to meet in Macon at sonic.

So this particular HS Coach has no current P5 level talent on his team and he’s kinda getting ignored by the UF staff at the moment because they are preoccupied and heavily recruiting the schools with the star power?

Napier is recruiting better than Mullen and he’s built enough relationships so far to secure a few 4*’s right there in Jville.

They are Florida. They wandered in the desert for 60 years before head ball coach came along. They are simply reverting back to the mean.

I really don't know and don't care that much where Florida recruits went before the 80's, but Miami and FSU were both elite programs in the 80's and 90's, and there was still room for Florida to play at the same level in the 90's.

It's not like recruiting at Tennessee, where half the programs in the B1G, ACC, and SEC are recruiting in your yard. If Napier can't do it, somebody will have Florida competing for the SEC again every year.

Its wild to me that Florida has largely been wandering in the desert for over a decade. So many bad misses. Didn't think that would happen there for so long.

It isn't surprising given the history of UF Football...it took them 58 years to win a conference championship. Georgia Tech and Tulane have won as many SEC titles as Florida and were long since gone from the conference before Florida won their fist one...outside of a brief period of their history, when they were VERY good no doubt, they have at best been average....

All that we “see above” are your words. There’s no source provided indicating that Florida high school coaches are unhappy with Napier.

Mullen’s recruiting wasn’t a problem at Florida. He consistently signed Top 10 classes while competing with Georgia, FSU, Clemson, Miami, etc.,

That is an excuse brain dead Florida fans make - but the reality of the situation is that kids don’t want to live in suck arse Gainesville while playing for a broke program that hasn’t won a conference title since the Bush administration

Dead program with no appeal.

Florida is Nebraska 2.0.

Who is the one claiming that what I said did not happen?
I said they talked about it on local radio?
That happened there is not any question to that?
So are you just insecure because the gators are struggling right now?
They could be great.
The idea behind the post and what they discussed on radio was that they had heard he had not been taking care of the area coaches.
Whether that matters or not is obviously his choice or his laziness.
Good luck.
These kind of things start going downhill fast for coaches these days and he is going to struggle this year with no qb.
That multiples in people’s minds after this season. Will he make it to the next after that who knows but you better make sure you have as much of the Florida/Georgia talent as possible.
People will not want to put up the NIL money if they see a lame duck coach which he risks becoming.
Name a hotter seat in the SEC other then maybe Jimbo.
