Florida has become Tennessee. Napier is their Butch Jones. After one more bad hire after Sunbelt Billy they should become contenders again.

They made 3 NY6 games in a row from 2018-2020 which isn't terrible at all but yea outside of that they've been pretty average to below average for a program of their caliber(the East sucked in 2015 and 2016 so someone had to win it)

You sound like an unhinged idiot? So I better identify you as a Florida fan and what group you are part of. Who is your favorite all time player at UF?

Missing on some big recruits that are going to places like Tally, Georgia, and even Miami.

To be fair, big recruits from the state of Florida going to FSU, UGA and Miami is nothing historically odd.

Florida’s a huge state population wise. UF doesn’t have to lock down the state to recruit at a high level.

The state has enough talent to feed several mouths.

They sucked before Spurrier. Expecting them to be good is recency bias.

well Spurrier was their coach for basically the first decade of my life, so you're not wrong, but it was my perception of them.

Yep...Gator millennials are crushed because they didn't know what being an afterthought looked like until the last 10-15 years. Their program existed since the early 1900's and didn't sniff a MNC until 1996. Older Gator fans understand and appreciate what happened in the 90's and 00's, but it's been a wakeup call for the younger generation.

It's pretty simple just recruit and coach well. Fla fell behind bad in facilities but now all that shite is brand new along with housing being top notch. Maybe they never get it together but that seems like a dumbass take to me.

You can talk about pre spurrier all you want but fla football didn't blow till the 80s because that's when people started moving there. Since then 3 teams have won a ton of titles combined. Nothing has stalled that except bad decisions.

They are Florida. They wandered in the desert for 60 years before head ball coach came along. They are simply reverting back to the mean.

He’s going to have an even harder time recruiting with the resurgence of FSU.

Florida leads for two top 150 kids from the Jacksonville area specifically. So because a HS coach is complaining means all of the HS coaches in Florida are unhappy with Napier. Seems like a logical thought.
