Your little gem pertaining to how it, "sucks to be a Florida Gator" with regards to the antics of our coach.

Oh yea, that was pretty good. But I really meant it sucks because this season is kind of shot now AND your coach acts like a 6 year old on the sideline. I'd be worried. That's just me.

Where was he at that time? He wouldn't have left the Texas job for Arkansas.

He was still at Auburn, he was our #1 target at the time until Petrino came into the fold.

He would've been our coach otherwise. He went on to be Texas DC about a month later.

Even the big fat dude?

I don't think he'll cut it in the SEC. His style fits the NFL but not the SEC. He doesn't seem to be a good game coach--he wasn't able to make adjustments to counter Bama's D. After that one score on the first play of the game, Florida's offense wasn't able to do much at all.

He won't last.

Dumbest, most irrational post of the day so far. Thanks for the laugh, dipshit. Please further elaborate on your keen sense coaching expertise so I can keep on laughing.

So I'll put you down as somewhat worried.

Florida has had a reputation as a bunch of pot smoking thugs, which is kind of true. In the first few months, Coach Muschamp has started turning that around. He demands his players to maintain a standard, both on and off the field. I think he is a great hire.

Man that sounds familiar. Something about the spread not working in the SEC? Can't put my finger on it...

Didn't read all five pages of thread,

But I am very happy with the hire. Boom has brought a hunger back to the team.

We had one loss to a top three team that is think may go undefeated again and it got out of hand when Brantley went out.

Florida is in good hands

I was really surprised at the hire and felt Florida reached a bit going after a guy with zero HC experience.

Being Mack Brown's #2 may not be all that different from being the HC at Okie State. And hiring talent rather than reputation is usually the way to go.

And now we see his hissy fits on the sideline

Now? You forget how he used to rant when he was LSU's DC?

Give him a couple of years before you start making judgments.

Just say the same thing about your OC if Bama holds your offense down. We don't have the horses to hang with Bama right now. How is that Charlie's fault?

We don't have a true big RB, a bunch of just "guys" at WR and no TE for Charlie's system. Help is on the way though. It'll take a couple of years.

Charlie will be fine IMO.

Oh, it's the first year of the new system. Do you honestly think the entire play book is installed enough for adjustments to be made without the proper personnel?

It is? They could very well go 10-2 in the regular season. That's a wash for a first year coach now?

Um. If anyone is convinced that Fat Charlie "won't cut it" in the SEC after only five games, they haven't been paying attention. He got hamstrung against 'Bama because his starting QB went out.

Maybe he went panic mode a bit, but I don't think anyone could have sufficiently adjusted to that against 'Bama's D, given all the variables.

Give these guys a little time.

See, to me, it's more acceptable for your DC to act like a cheerleader at times. But it's not very becoming as the HC.
