Are you really being serious about this?

I don't agree with Finebaum.
Had Saban stayed at LSU, he would have won just as many natties as he has at Alabama.
As it is, Saban won 1 at LSU and then Les Miles won 1 with Saban's recruits and then coasted to playing for another against Saban. Had Saban stayed those would have all three been Saban's, and the last one would would have been a victory, since he wouldn't have been coaching against himself. Add in other victories since he wouldn't have been using Cam Cameron as his OC and would have been running a tighter, better program all around, and there you have it - Saban would have won as many at LSU as he did at Alabama. The difference is Saban.

I like The Old Ball Coach. He's thrown shade at just about everyone.

Our facilities are a lot nicer than LSU

He would have done the same thing at LSU if he would have stayed. Saban could win a NC with the LSU team this year if he was their coach.

I am jealous of Bama's system, the official one and the black op one too.

Nope, not in the least. His opinion. Just made several post on the subject and moving on.

The royalty programs in football are Alabama, Ohio State, USCw, Notre Dame, and Texas. The rest of us are not royalty and never will be. Another way to look at it is if any of these programs went after your coach, he would be gone. And Saban already left you.

Maybe it's home bias talking, but if I were a college kid I'd prefer to live in Baton Rouge than Tuscaloosa.
I must confess that most of my time in Baton Rouge has been spent on the I-10 bridge for hours at a time looking at downtown Baton Rouge or Tiger Stadium if I look the other direction. So I can't fairly judge Baton Rouge. Topography and climate wise it is similar to southeast Texas and Houston outskirts where I live. That being said, Tuscaloosa and the surrounding area is beautiful in comparison. The campus is very pretty and the restaurant scene along the strip and downtown make it one of the prettiest campus areas I have seen. Having three kids in college, I've visited quite a few campuses the last few years. My oldest chose Bama and the other two joined her there. Maybe I'm also a little biased, but it is the best college town and campus I have been to.

Ole Miss and Georgia have the nicest overall campuses in my opinion. Traffic in Baton Rouge has always sucked bad.
