I can only speak for myself but I don't want anything to do with the Big 12, except for occasionally playing UTexas and some other Texas teams OOC. I can only identify with the SEC and it's been that way even before we were in the SEC. It's in my blood and I can't help it.

Alright. Shoot Mr. Long a text and and tell him to invite Slive over for a pissing contest. I have a feeling that "for you, my friend" will be what he gets in reply.

UT cleared 14k on the table you provided. If you think for a minute that Arky has as much pull as UT..you're nuts.

You mentioned "sharks"..what happens when the shark goes into the boardroom, and everyone sees that he as no teeth? Arky vis a vie Long may have a dorsal fin, but they lack the gum accoutrements..

If LSU is replacing Arkansas as its opponent to end the regular season, Jeff Long says he isn’t aware of it.

Long used Twitter to respond to reports that “The Battle For The Boot” might eventually move form its traditional post-Thanksgiving timeslot.

“Hog Fans, I do not know where LSU is getting this information. Have had repeated conversation with SEC Officials and there are no plans as of 6/1/12 to change LSU from our season ending Football game.”

Dude, are you Mizzousessed or what? Just in a quick read, I saw at least 3 unprovoked slams at Mizzou. Are you really that worried about us? Please, leave us out of your little pity party about losing the LSU Thanksgiving game, and your threats about conference bevo. We don't need to be painted with your crazy brush!

Excuse me, sir. Not sure if you're serious or drunk.

However, do you think recruits pick Ark because of Fayetteville or because they want to play in the SEC?

The SEC made Ark a better a program. Not the other way around. Trust!

Go to the Big 12 and watch your program go down.

Idiot.

Means nothing now and you should realize this. As of today Missouri has the same voting rights as Alabama.

Technically yes. But if you don't the larger schools don't have some pull then you're ignorant.

Why do you think Bama gets to keep it's traditional rivalries and the dates of those rivalries, while Arkansas get's changed to accommodate them? As a business man you should realize there are always "under the table" deals.

Ok. And that's revenue from ticket sales and such. That only benefits Arkansas. Not the SEC... with that you are not a valuable asset to the SEC. What is valuable to the SEC is a team winning bowl games/championships, and more TV time. A team like VA Tech would do just as good as Arkansas in those areas.

The schools own revenue just helps the school improve itself.

And that chart is a little misleading because it shows who was most profitable. Arkansas did well managing their own money.

Arkansas is 7th in the SEC in gross revenue earned. You do not hold that much pull in that aspect either.

The other chart was funnier. And I have no clue what time frame your chart encompasses.

My guffaw was, and remains, satisfying.

It pretty clearly states it's from the Department of Education 2010-2011.

You want to tell me Slive doesn't care about Revenue and losing a top producing would gather a F-U, ha.

I'll use the walmart example... When Sam Walton was getting sued by his own family because he wasn't running his business effectively according to them... He was asked some questions in lawyer terms, to which he didn't know the answer, they used this as see he doesn't understand basic business principles.

He replied with.. I might know the answer but I can hire someone who does. Everyone shut the hell up because his money talked.

Y'all underestimate how these are F500 companies not T-Ball teams.

Arkansas's revenue got so high because it joined the SEC. So where is your weight to throw around the board room? Because to me it appears that the SEC is responsible for what you make.

Don't confuse worrying with making fun of state with twice the population, producing significantly less revenue than Arkansas.

I'm not underestimating shite. SEC football is no different than any other business. However, the SEC is the "Sam Walton" of football. If a middle manager for Walmart wanted to act like upper management...then "Sam" can go out and get one who knows his proper place.

Neither.

Coach and facilities.

The SEC made Arkansas and better program now in return Arkansas is producing a shite load for the SEC. It's what have you done for me lately now we have arrived with the "Big6" in money.

You do realize the Big12 is as strong as when Mizzou and TAMU left. If FSU or Clemson joins it gets much stronger and on the same level as the SEC.
