No, it's not.

Again, no matter how much you want it to be it just isn't.

Holy shite. Anyone that thinks being a football coach is similar to being a general is really not worth having a discussion with.

Aside from the stakes, tell me in its most basic boiled down form what the difference is in duties? That's what a coach is. He oversees the training of his troops and then commands them in battle. Maybe a general is a subcategory of coach, but their job descriptions are fairly similar.

Lol, we aren't going to lose 1/2 billion dollars.

Jesus dude.

There may be a small decrease in enrollment for a few years then it will completely fall off the map and life will go on.

It's not nearly the issue that people on this board want it to be.

I'm just repeating what Wolfe said.

Are you sure about that? Really think it through. I'm livid and have no connection to your university. Imagine if I were a multi-million dollar graduate from Mizzou. I've talked with several of your alumni, and none of them plan on sending a cent to the university anytime soon. I certainly wouldn't send the University any money for the foreseeable future over the embarrassment and debauchery that visited our university. I'd have to see significant progress in order for me to invest in the university again. I'm sure yall have these rich donors, and many of them will sit out at least next season in order for changes to be made. This will add up in addition to other factors like enrollment.

Well there's no way you could be a multi-million dollar graduate, so there's that.

1). Quit using "debauchery" until you learn what it means.

2). To lose half a billion we would need to lose well over 10,000 students. That would be 10 years of our current indicated loss with nothing else changing.

3). To lose half a billion on the AD giving side, we'd need contributions to drop to $0 total for about 25 years.

So, really think about how stupid you are for a second.

Pinkel is gone.

except that he(Pinkel) isn't gone, he's been hired by MU to solicit donations from the people who have cut MU off for the silliness that Pinkel GREATLY helped facilitate. Wolfe may be wrong about some things, but that's one of the things he got entirely correct. Pinkels stupidity brought a great deal of this turmoil on to the campus by allowing the football team to "strike".

It's pretty obvious, with the alumni who don't support PP being facilitated with campus funding to the entirely manufactured 1950 "list of demands" bs that there is a great deal of internal strife and conflict. The fact that Glick or Click has remained fully employed up until a day ago when some charges were filed by a local prosecutor, tells us the leftist infesting the University will be ready to circle the wagons to protect their own.

This school is a train wreck with a blind conductor at the throttle headed straight off the rails and over the cliff.

I believe she just got charged with assault to the student journalist

She pleaded not guilty

How the school is still employing her is beyond my wildest imagination

educators especially the leftist bernie sanders type will gladly use some excuse of contractual obligation through tenure(which I don't see her having) as a reason to sit on their hands and do nothing. These type are entirely predictable, like the treacherous Clintons, when it comes to their own, they are entirely blind to any wrong doing.
