That's not his fault. There were plenty of times he was open but Hurts was looking somewhere else. Hurts is the one too high on this list.

Finally! An intelligent Bama fan. Props to you. Hurts is not terrible by any stretch. He is one hell of an athlete. He should NOT be that high on the list.

I agree, but I do think his accomplishments tend to be kicked under the rug based on his performance the last 3 games of the season and because of the talent around him.

He needs to improve this year, and I expect him to like almost all QB's do from freshman year to sophomore year. How much he improves will tell the tale on our season.

What I forgot to add is going over the middle to make that 3rd and long catch when you know you are going to get hit.

Dude. Just quit. You seemingly find it impossible to say anything positive about any Bama player. That's fine, but quit moving the goal post.

Wes Welker wasn't afraid to go over the middle and make a catch on 3rd and long when he was going to get hit. Neither was Ed McCaffery. Neither of them should be considered among the elite WRs of their era.

YOU may judge WRs by their willingness to go over the middle. Others judge them by hands, ability to separate, ability to high point the ball and make contested catches, run after catch, etc.

You slam others b/c they don't use the same criteria as you, yet refuse to give credence to their criteria. You can't be this dumb, so I'm going to assume its your fanhood over-riding your ability to be objective.

Most of Ridley's yardage involved Kiffin signaling TD before the ball was thrown

You aren't very smart are you? Do you think any receiver makes most of his catches over the middle in traffic?
