50-26 ranked players

25-1 ranked player

Listed by SEC:

Bama - (6)
#7 Minkah, #18 Ridley, #26 Bo, #29 Hurts, #37 Evans, #42 Harrison

LSU - (2)
#5 Guice, #19 Key (he gonna play?)

AU - (1)
#22 Stidham

UGA - (1)
#23 Chubb

A&M - (1)
#32 Kirk

Takeaways -
* Where you at SEC East? UGA is gonna romp that division.
* some LSU fans say they've got as much talent as Bama. not according to this list. FSU & OSU do, though.
* Stidham highly ranked considering the limited sample size. I kind of expect him to live up to the hype tho.

Suprised Fitz isn't on there. He's already set some new rushing records last year. I think he'll be ever better this year in the passing game.

Anyone thinking Stidham is going to be JJ part 2 is in for a lot of heartbreak.

I don't know how good he'll be, but at the very least he'll make some big plays.

I could have seen him ranked in the 45-50 range and not had an issue with it. If he plays this year like he did last year then he's in that top 30 range, IMO.

Even as AU fan, I'm gonna say pump the breaks. I didn't read the article, so if its projected, then ok. If its as of now going into season, not so sure.

I'm just excited that he was coached up over at Baylor. Gus Malzahn won't be able to ruin him...I hope.

I like Florida. Pretty sure I picked Florida to win the East last year and, honestly, I think the winner of the UGA/FL game wins the east. The "romp" comment was partially in jest. That said, UGA's QB is more of a known than Florida's. Florida lost a ton on D and UGA brings back virtually everyone. To say they are the favorites in the division isn't a stretch and it certainly isn't anything for you to get your jorts in a bunch over.

What an ESPN dick sucking list. ESPN is the laziest group of reporters in all of journalism. They take the word from one of their "experts" and the rest run with it as fact.

Ridley was average last year. Take away the deep ball and the bubble screens and he is not Top 5 in the SEC.
Bo-didn't have 1000 yards while playing in 15 games
Hurts-can run the ball, but is very average passer
Evans-give me a break.
Harrison- Clemson exposed UA secondary, problem is there wasn't a decent QB in the SEC to do the same.
Guice- looked good at times, but LSU was built to run the ball.
Stidham-hasn't played in two years.
Chubb-not even the best RB at UGA

That's not his fault. There were plenty of times he was open but Hurts was looking somewhere else. Hurts is the one too high on this list.

Chad Kelly and Allen both threw 400 yards.

Now you're just trolling

It's pretty amazing Bama was about to run through the SEC like shite through a goose last year with all these mediocre players. I wonder what it'll look like once Saban gets some actual top 50 talent down there.

Take away the pass and Stidhams not Top 5 in the SEC. Take away the football and Guice plays quidditch. Making statements that make no sense makes no sense.

Ridley was average last year.

Give you that, but there were reasons that his numbers were average that have zero to do with his ability. He has 1st round ability and it seems those experts are expecting him to have a breakout JR year like Julio and Amari did before him.

quote:

Bo-didn't have 1000 yards while playing in 15 games

Well, he played in 13 games, not 15 and had 916 yards rushing. Also, he averaged 113.5 yards per game and 7.2 yards per carry in the final 4 games of the year (AU, Florida, Washington, and Clemson). They're projecting him to do well in 2017.

quote:

Hurts-can run the ball, but is very average passer

Ok. He's a play-maker in college football. He's 13-1 as a starter, had a 23-9 TD/INT ratio, passed for 2,780 yards and ran for another 954 (averaging 5.0 yards per carry including sacks). That's pretty damn solid in the SEC. If you'd guarantee me the same production this year I'd take it now.

quote:

Evans-give me a break.

this one is a stretch based on potential. I'll give you that. he'll start this year now that Foster is gone, so we'll see if they're right on this or not.

quote:

Harrison- Clemson exposed UA secondary, problem is there wasn't a decent QB in the SEC to do the same.

No. The lack of a running the ball leading to an avalanche of plays the secondary had to be on the field combined with Eddie Jackson being out and the FS, Nickel, and Dime DBs being different exposed the secondary. That was a solid bunch that had Humphrey (1st rounder) and Minkah & Harrison (both projected 1st rounders). I'm fine with Harrison being ranked in the 40-50 range. This isn't a stretch.

quote:

Guice- looked good at times, but LSU was built to run the ball.

Dude Guice is gonna ball out this year. They may have him rated too high at #5, but he's going to be a top 20 player in CFB this year barring injury.

quote:

Stidham-has played in two years.

based on limited sample size and they're projecting his potential, but QBs that were developed by someone other than Gus have usually played really well in Gus' offense.

quote:

Chubb-not even the best RB at UGA

Get out. Seriously. Log out of your account. Chubb is a beast.
