My next question is will you have to do a yearly contract thing?

can't answer that, but I already consider it a great deal that you can get all of the ESPN3 streaming content for the price of a monthly ISP bill. I just hope that doesn't change.

One thing that kinda sucks about watch espn is that it's 45 seconds behind.

I think if you block the ads, it will sync up to within about 10 seconds behind, but yea, it is an issue.

If the problem for you is a radio feed online, there are apps that can delay that feed and get it in time sync for you.

I can live with that.

I can live without SEC Network too.

How many meaningful football games did I watch on SECN? Three? Including the two on opening week?

I think I missed half of Carolina's games because I don't have SEC Network.

I pay for basic cable (bc its only $18 more than internet) but use my in-laws watch espn when I want to watch HD.

I usually watch in horrible SD, but the lag on WatchESPN kills me.

Yeah following a gamechat on SECRant and watching the game on WatchESPN....not advisable if you don't want spoilers.

I've thing I miss shite living in New Orleans, was that half the places I lived in were pre wired with stolen cable. So I've had free cable for years. I rented a room for a coupe months when I moved out to Colorado. Since the guy was a douche, I'm gonna keep using his account password to use watch espn.

But I was used torrents for years, and now I mostly watch movies on Netflix. So if they make it the best available option, at a reasonable price, then I'll subscribe. But I don't want to pay for hgtv and other networks I'll never watch. That's why I hated cable in the first place.

Ha, look at the package offered. Also, what percentage of the nation has high enough speed to actually be satisfied with the quality of a streaming video as opposed to the quality of satellite? I've got U-verse at home and not nearly high enough speed to rely upon streaming video. The US average is supposedly 5.3 mbps (about the minimum you need) but that is AVERAGE, and that number is going to vary. I don't think streaming is anywhere near reliable enough right now to make the "a la carte" revolution that some folks are hoping for, possible.

Dear Lord. I've been waiting for this. Seriously the only reason I have cable is because of sporting events.
