Usually Lou is hyper-critical of Bama. I am still confused by his comments. Didn't Mark May roll his eyes when Lou made that statement.

I would put Michigan State 3rd so Auburn and Alabama wouldn't rematch in the semis, FWIW.

I wonder why they didn't just do a 8 team playoff. 5 champs and 3 at large. That way both arguments can be addressed.

In the end I as a fan want to see the best teams play for the title.
