Ohio State might edge MSU solely for business and political reasons.
OSU is a big name with a big fan base and powerful connections, pretty much the exact opposite of MSU.
Hopefully somebody will just beat them to spare us all the belly aching.

The Ohio State thing is a total joke. They have the worst of both worlds : no great wins, no depth of wins, the worst loss of any contender.
And they are going to get in because they beat Wisconsin? Good grief. What a joke.

This.
I caught some of The Experts on ESPN yesterday. Two of them were pimping Ohio State hard and the other two said nothing, even though there were obvious flaws in their praise. Very odd. Seemed like maybe the producers told them to say it to get Ohio State fan viewers and more ad revenue.
Remember, ESPN doesn't care about any school or conference. They care only about putting more money in their pockets, no matter who they screw in the process.

Bayor has wins over #5 and #21, while tOSU has wins over #12 and #25. The Baylor loss was to a solid WVU on the road, while tOSU lost at home to an average VT.
What is the committee looking at$ sorry, I meant?

Baylor beat TCU. I don't get the head to head not counting argument.

MSU is still ahead of OSU now, but if OSU jumps them in the end I don't think it will be an egregious error. I think the committee doesn't necessarily want to reward teams like MSU and Baylor who played jokes of non-conference schedules because it might encourage that behavior in the future.
thats dumb. Just use strength of schedule. Why should we have to schedule tough OOC when our damn division, let alone our conference, is tougher than anyone outside the SEC?
Sure, we scheduled a couple of cream puffs, however, USM wasnt a shitburger when we scheduled that game.
