Who has State beat?

Southern Miss, UAB, USA, LSU, A&M, Auburn, Kentucky,UTM and Arkansas. is that like a trick question?

Mississippi State's one loss is to #1 on the road.

Ohio State's one loss is to a 5-5 Virginia Tech team at home by 2 touchdowns.
There's no question that a 1-loss Miss. St. is more deserving of a playoff berth than a 1-loss Ohio St.

That's why Ole Miss will beat Miss. St.
It kills two birds with one stone - further propping up of Bama; further paving the way for Ohio St. to make the playoffs.

So they are fixing games in order to generate more money and get favorable match ups?

They are instructing the refs to call games certain ways to favor certain teams?

Heavens no! Big business would never manipulate the market. Don't be silly.

There is no way they let Miss State keep the #4 spot if Ohio State wins out and beats Wissy in the conference championship. That extra game will put them in there. I know they lost to a bad team at home but lets be honest about the circumstances. Their starting QB went down only a few days before the game. They had to start a freshman who probably never practiced with the first team offense until a couple days before that game. He threw 3 picks and played terrible. Since then he has looked really good and they look like a pretty good team. I know I would rather play Florida State or Oregon before them out of the top 3.

They have got to move those committee meetings out of Dallas. Bama's backyard.

One of those teams will win their division and their conference.

Herbstreet should go back and re watch appearances on ESPN at the end of the 2011 season. He seems to be singing a very different toon now.

Agreed. But now you can see evidence of it. I just don't like the human element having all of the control.

You think that computers are not controlled by humans?

Just business people doing business.

It is entertaining, though, to watch all the narcissistic Bammers get all defensive about it.

Well I would much rather the human element be only them putting information into a formual to come up with a ranking based on the games than them solely making the decision.

I would have been happy with the BCS being tweeked to take into consideration strength of schedule and game control and use those rankings over giving the human vote 100% control. JMO

Their agenda is maximum TV ratings for the playoffs.

Two SEC teams will NOT get in unless they are both head and shoulders over the competition.

Barring major upsets, I think we are looking at: SEC Champion (unless it's Mizzou); FSU, Oregon, and either Big 12 or B1G champion.

If Mizzou plays & wins the SECCG, then a 1-loss MSU would probably get in.
