2. Bama has been eliminated from contention because it has played the no. 1 team already and lost (assuming LSU wins next week)

Bama already played the "game of the century" national championship game at home. They fricking lost. :dwi:

turning into a joke

Jokes are fun I heard one about a team in Oklahoma that wanted to play in a national title game but they lost to a horrible team in Ames, Iowa when favored by 28.

That would be like Bama losing to Ole Miss or Vandy - two teams we were favored by 28 to beat. Beat Ole Miss 52-7 & Vandy 34-0.

If Bama doesnt make it I hope it is OSU. LSU (or Bama) would beat OSU by 17+.

Was the comparison of teams ranked at the time the game was played or ranked now? If it was when the game was played guess what....THE BCS ISN'T RELEASED UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON. WHich means.....for half the season NO team is ranked in the BCS.

And seriously guys....yes LSU played Oregon. Other than that the schedule is a wash. We played 7 SEC games not against each other...6 were common opponents with the difference being Alabama played Vandy and LSU played Kentucky. Hell, Vandy killed Kentucky anyway.

LSU also beat a healthy Arkansas.. by the same margin as you beat their back ups

Funny how their push for LSU in 2007 was accepted with open arms...

Negative. They had like two starters miss the game (not counting Kniles since he was out all season). We also had our back up QB in the middle of the 4th.

LSU has Oregon....but after that our schedules are really similar. Hell our SEC schedule we played SIX of SEVEN common opponents.

frick...40% of the hosts/analysts on the fricking BCS Countdown show are fricking Bama grads.

This is what is crazy to me. Craig James is a complete moron and 2 of the other 3 on the show are Bama grads.
ESPN has become too powerful and unfortunately they drive the opinions of many voters and control the info chain that most fans get their info from.
The conflicting interest that has infused itself into this conversation of who should be #2 is really disgusting.
I believe that many voters are sick of the ESPN control though and will vote accordingly if OSU wins convincingly this weekend. I don't think America wants a rematch independent of ESPN's agenda and it will be in the hands of the voters to give America what it wants....not what ESPN wants.

Beating Bama twice will empty this rant like Raid on cock roaches. LSU will be fast and deadly in the Dome. And yes, the home field advantage will be the next excuse on butthurtbammers.com

I really wish we could have played OSU. Maybe we still can. I love that offense and it would be an interesting match-up between such different programs.

BTW: I would have said this even if it wasnt this year and we werent talking about a NC game. So PLEASE dont regail me, again, witht the "you are so afraid of playing us again" routine. I am sick of it. Grow up. I'm begging you.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I am better than you when it comes to opportunities. Just a hunch.

Overrated because we lost to the best team in the country (which your team did as well) and lost to (in my opinion) the third best team in the country?

Shitty conference? We have 3 teams in the top 10. Yeah...it's just terrible.

As well you should. I bet you don't care who you play either. Neither do I. I just want my team to be there and win it. I just wish the bitching would end and we could get to the game!

Funny how that wasn't a concern when Boise St was rearing their bitch head for a chance at the NC.

ESPN has little credibility anymore and everyone knows this. They push agendas and try to control what happens in the CFB world. Frick ESPN.
