o that A&M game could have went either way. They won on a walk off field goal.

And yet it didn't.

True....bur injuries, you know? And last season A&M was not even close to Alabama in talent.

Yes, and they were both on the field when Alabama dominated UGA in the SEC title game.

So....do they make all the difference in the world, or not?

Does the best team always win, or not?

People bring up the Colt McCoy thing like it’s some gotcha but the situations aren’t remotely the same.

Major injuries weakening a team are remotely the same. Bama fans want to have it both ways though.

So you’re saying any given day a talented team can beat another? Tell me more about this debate.

And by this same line of reasoning Alabama had no business playing for the NC in 2011 because we know LSU was better, in 2012 bc we know A&M was better, in 2015 bc we know Ole Miss was better, in 2017 bc we know Auburn was better, and 2021 bc we know A&M was better….

One game makes the next a forgone conclusion right?

No old Dawg….. at you see that the GA team that blasted their entire SEC schedule losing the SECC wasn’t a fluke but the AL team that lost to A&M, and struggled to beat FL, AU, LSU, and Arkansas losing to UGA in the NC was a fluke….can’t you see the clear logic?

Apparently a few on this board struggle with identifying the anomaly.

Alabama never “REALLY” loses. They just beat themselves occasionally so its ALL about Bama because it definitely couldn’t be that another team was better coached or their talent out played Bama’s talent!!

Too bad they were not good enough to
beat A&M. A 8 and 4 team that couldn’t work up enough courage to play Wake Florist. Guess they wuz hurt that day too

Not at all. We knew Kiper was an idiot. We just didn't realize so many Tide fans were.

Those are all positions where 1 player is touching the ball. Teams regularly employ 3 WRs in 2022, which many people may not be familiar with.

FYI... Burrow and Fields were issues of dumb, lazy coaches. Kamara had injuries and mentally, started from a less mature mindset than Yeldon and Drake. Pretty weak argument, my boy.

well shite, the jig is up. Somebody call the Athletic office and tell em to mail back the trophy. Get Jostens on the horn and tell em we're about send back a large order. Someone call Africa and let em know they're about to receive a shitload of clothing (only slightly worn) any day now.

It was a fun ride while it lasted briefly, but I mean when national media claims that you wouldn't really win the title if another guy had played more than he actually did, how can you really take any joy in it?
