Why do Alabama missing players count and Georgia missing players not count?

Because Alabama had twice as many players out.

It isn't how many players both teams were missing since the first of the year. It's that Alabama lost its 2 best receivers in the last 2 games, and one of those in the last game, so the substitutes hadn't hadn't the chance to work as much with the first team as those players who had to fill in earlier in the year.

In the 2nd half of the 2017 national championship, when The Fab 4 Freshmen of Tua, Smith, Juedy, and Ruggs had their coming out party, it was a different story, because they were all 2nd team that year, and so had practiced together all year long.

No one KNOWS this. Georgia was the better team. That’s fact. Don’t know why Bama is having such a hard time accepting that reality. In our past NC game and 2 of the earlier SEC games UGA led almost the entire game. We were better then but had some bad luck. We were better on Jan 10 and for once Lady Luck sided with the best team. Bama is slipping and their fans are sensing it. Nick is 70 and Kirby is in his mid 40s. Kirby has built a national powerhouse at Georgia and Bama is not the Bama of old The Tide fans don’t want to believe it, but Georgia is gonna make believers out of them. If you think the whining is bad now, just wait. It’s going to be so bad they are going to need to hand out pacifiers in Tuscaloosa

No, they didn't.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

Maybe if they had better back up players it might have been different. UGA had injured players too and they had depth and better backups. Bama didn’t. Guess coaching isn’t the only thing slipping at Bama

Then why did Alabama pound Georgia in the SEC game, before losing Metchie and Williamson?

This Georgia championship just gets better and better. It’s going to be a fun year if these sore losers keep whining like a spoiled toddler.

hmm. I just counted the number of clear Alabama and UGA fan posts in this thread. There were 13 posts by Alabama fans, including my own, and 17 posts by UGA fans, and yes, most seem like they are whining.

Not sure who you are accusing of whining. For the record Georgia has absolutely nothing to whine about. They are National Champions and Bama isn’t.

Then why are Alabama fans wanting to count the RBs? Seems odd that y'alls injuries count but ours do not. And you lost your top two WRs in the last three games, not two. (Not that that matters either)

Y'all don't practice?

We played two walk-on player (QB..Stetspon Bennett and Safety..Dan Jackson) Brock Bowers, Ladd McConkey nor Adonail Mitchell should have gotten much playing time this year. It seems funny that y'all were calling Clemson bad and us bad for allowing them to play us close, when we started a ton of frshmen due to injuries and our starting QB was playing hurt....yet your injuries were the only reason Alabama got beat against us.

So, your receivers in the title game were not all your second string receivers? Or are you saying instead of rotating your receivers during the year (Like we did) y'all just didn't give them any reps? Either way it cost Alabama big time, right?

Are you saying the best team always wins? Maybe we should have been playing Texas A&M in the title game, then.

I agree. Y'all shouldn't be whining about injuries and your players not getting reps during the year. It's your coaches jobs to get the players ready, isn't it? Your backups were not ready. Ours were.

UGA would have won by more if they had a better QB. More at 11

Alabama and Georgia had played four weeks earlier so we saw what the Tide's offense was capable of with its two starting receivers healthy and running full speed.

So y’all would have gotten beat by A&M everytime if you played them 10 times last season? Lmao

Bama barely beat AU. A team UGA, as usual, destroyed. It actually took a miracle for the Tide to survive that “awesome Auburn juggernault” Ha ha

Joe Burrow couldn't beat out Haskins.

Alvin Kama couldn't beat out Kenyan Drake or TJ Yeldon

Justin Fields couldn't beat out Jake Fromm etc.

You're argument is weak af.

No that A&M game could have went either way. They won on a walk off field goal.

The SECCG was not competitive. It wasn't a 4 quarter game.

Yes, and they were both on the field when Alabama dominated UGA in the SEC title game.
