I agree. He just looks nuts.

Anyone that would actually go as far as to do something like this has issues. I think he should be punished, but he needs some mental help as well.

I would just like to know, why go thru the expense of a trial. If he did it, then let the judge make the judgement and get on with it. Where in the state of Alabama could he possibly get a fair trial? Who would fill the jury, because both sides hate him?

I don't blame Finebaum but without his show those trees would have never been poisoned.

That's ridiculous. That crazy 62 year old man poisoned the trees because Auburn beat them in the Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa and then an Aubbie put a Cam Newton jersey on thr Bear's statue. Without Finebaum's show, the jackass would never have been caught.

Do y'all think he has the balls to show up at next year's iron bowl?

He probably won't be allowed to be on University grounds per his probation.

I think a lengthy prison sentence is kinda absurd - probation will probly be what he gets - but i think a year or 2 will be good.

but then the justice system baffles me.

Idk. He seems like a rebel. I can picture him yelling "frick the police".

That was done before the Iron Bowl... In fact some folks believe the tshirt (it was not a jersey) was actually done by Alabma fans as a way to motivate the team.

All true BUT

Finebaum definitely makes a living off of the hate. IMO he spurrs it on for the benefit of his own show. Does he legally have any liability when an idiot does a stupid act.....Of course not. Morally he does have liability IMO. JMO

I think he was a rebel. Once the handcuffs are slapped on you and you realize you're actually going to jail, your outlook changes real quick.
