I seriously think it's hilarious when people pick Ole Miss to contend for the west next year after they lose the three best players from their roster and only managed to win 9 regular season games with them.

They beat Bama without Tunsil, OSU & A&M without RN and we return the best QB in the league. Did you think state could contend in the west last year when y'all returned the best QB?

Return 4 of 5 starters that beat Bama. Best guard to guard play Freeze has had and plenty of RT candidates including the one who played against Bama. Big issue is LT. Hoping Greg Little is as advertised but to assume a true freshman will be ready for FSU in week one or Bama in week 3 is unrealistic. Better OL than the one we fielded for the first 7 games last year but that's not saying much

No doubt OM has talent. I think what the nerdy espn guy on Fbomb was saying is you aren't as talented as 5-6 teams on your schedule. Trying to reload with all those tough games early will be really tough.

Could easily happen. Bama and FSU are better and UGA is more than talented enough to beat us in Oxford. A 1-3 start could deflate the team and losing to LSU and one other team isn't outlandish.
