I don't mind the flag if it's used to respect those who lost their lives fighting for the Confederacy or states rights, but the ignorant hicks who put it on their bumper and are racist as frick bother me.

I feel like the stigma at this point has relegated the flag to only the racists at this point. I really see it as a symbol of southern shame. The war I realize wasn't just about slavery, but that's what the battleflag has come to represent in my mind...fighting to keep slaves.
