Gibson, I'm enjoying your posts. For some reason Ags think College Station is hot and humid. It's not. It's hot and kinda humid.

Baton Rouge is hot and humid and the stadium doesn't have an open end

Well as a Houston native (aka humidity expert) and a longtime College Station resident, unfortunately I find heat and humidity to be alive and well here.

And I wouldn't change it a lick.

I'm not saying CS isnt hot and humid, it is..

Just like most other places in the south

My point is that most Ags think the heat will give them an advantage, I dont see it because Alabama is use to playing in that type of weather...

I appreciate the consistency. When I travel to Houston I just walk outside before I leave BR. I know the weather will be the same.

For the record, I'm not the poster who said that the heat will give us an advantage; I said the heat will make all of us miserable. Alabama is certainly used to the triple-digit temps we all endure.

The advantage we'll have is of the 12th Man variety--not the thermostat kind.

Well I can respect that opinion, not people who try to claim the heat will be a factor.

Average cloud cover on Sept 21st

FYI, we play on the 14th, not the 21st. The trends might be similar, but I would be interested to see a comparison a week earlier. I've never been to Tuscaloosa in Sept, but it's crazy hot in CS because the high humidity and low cloud cover make the heat index retarded. A 5 degree difference between T-town and CS might be closer to 10 with the heat index factored in.

Honestly. I think they will probably beat us again. I just have a feeling. I'm just being honest with yall.

I disagree. aTm snuck up on a lot of teams last year and barely won against some very inferior opponents at times. Ex. La Tech. I just don't see JFF having the success he had a year ago. Still think they will be solid but I don't believe the tide sleeps for a quarter again this season. And ya'll will be very rested, fresh, and above all, Ready for them as that game is early in the season.

Both teams will practice in the heat.

The point I tried to make in my post is that visitors should prepare because a hot sun baking you at 96 deg F will ruin the game for you if you aren't prepared.

If you want to compare it to the truly brutal parts of Texas, you're right. I grew up in SE Texas where the humidity is basically 90%+ the whole summer. And yes, Houston is also worse than CS. Still, it's not like the humidity in CS is pleasant.
