Well it is kinda hard for fournette to have big numbers no matter how good or great he is when he doesn't have a QB that can complete a forward pass to help him out to open up the defense a little and the fact he's trying to find open holes against 25 men in the box every play. Yea I know Hutson mason wasn't that great either but he was still more effective than Jennings ever was. But all excuses aside nick Chubb was the better looking back last year and for now deserves to be #1 in the league.

Henry had better stats than LF7 last year, and Drake is really fricking good.

That's right.

In fact, I'm seriously considering poisoning your trees because you ranked them tied for second.

Henry's production has been better than Fournette. It's just a fact.

Well, he didn't. He had a higher YPC (.2 yards lol) and 1 more TD. He also played in one more game.

LF put up practically the same stats in a much worse offense. There really isn't an argument.

And better Receiving stats. The only thing that LF7 had more than Henry was yards, but he had more carries than Henry. Henry trumped him in every other stat.

is that based on his 112 yards in 4 games? (i'm not even including Ole Miss)

it's a complete Alabama fan comment to say he's the 2nd best in the league and you know it.

Those are based on NFL career, NOT college. There were some people outisde of LSU fans that argued for other players beside Hill.

And they were wrong. Hill had 6.9 ypc last year. If he wouldve gotten the same amount of carries as Mason, he wouldve shattered the sec single seasom rushing record.

Henry had a passing attack to help. Argue all you want but the focus of Bama's opponents was to stop Cooper, at all costs, while the focus of LSU's opponents was solely on the RB and Henry still barely managed to have a higher YPC.

No, its based on his 7 ypc career average. Anyone who has ever watched Drake knows how good he is. I guess it makes sense to hold a broken leg that he sustained last year against him....

One was a true freshman with no passing game and one was a sophomore with one of the most prolific passing games in alabama history. Only gumps think Henry is on LF's level.

Okay, well, that is your opinion. Mine is backed up by stats(facts), and yours is backed up by saying that his production was a result of being in a better offense. Very well.

You put Drake as 2c. with Fournette and then have the audacity to say this?

Its also a fact that true freshman LF was better than Junior TJ yeldon. Also, defenses never brought a safety down because Coop would destroy a secondary with no over the top help while LF ran against 9-10 man fronts

Actually, pretty much everyone, other than Bama fans, say Chubb and LF are the two best.

Has LSU ever had the best RB in the SEC?

You're either real young, real ignorant of SEC football history or a supremely smug troll.
Whichever, LSU has had the best back in the SEC a dozen or more times. 3 of the top 7 SEC rushers in history in addition to a Heisman winning back. Get over yourself Dawgslife. Have a nice day.

Chubb ran against those same stacked boxes. UGA was no threat to go downfield with Mason. Most of his throws in every game were hitches, little comebacks, etc. in the 5-7 yard range. Chubb ran against a stacked box as much as LF.

bullshite. A sophomore henry with one of the best passing game in bama history barely out produced a true freshman with the worst passing games in lsu history. I cant believe youre even debating this. No defenses keyed in on Henry.
