Bottom line is at least 3, probably 4 or 5 backs will have better numbers than LF, DH, or KD, and this debate will continue endlessly.

simply not true

in 27 career games, Drake has had 6 games where he had 10 or more carries. He has 2 100 yard games in his CAREER. He is not a premier or featured back in this league and might never be, yet he somehow tied for the second best back in a league full of elite backs? Put down the koolaide. I'd put Fournette, Chubb, Williams, Collins, Hurd, and Artis-Payne all above Drake, and that's just off the top of my head. You're delusional

That's like 3-4 more games in regards to carries per game for 1 LSU RB.

Fournette's ceiling is higher than Chubb's.

Whether it was eight men or ten men, Fournette ran against defenses committed to stopping the run on every down. I understand Georgia didn't have Murray, but they still ranked 29th in passing yards. LSU ranked something like 70th. Not saying either back is better, but aren't the stats just a little skewed?

What were Chubb's return yardage stats? Just curious.

UGA always seems to have unreal backs. But they also always seem to get injured. I hope Chubb doesn't get injured bc he looks special.

I will say that LF started to improve late in the season, barring Arky game which was one of the worst games I've witnessed. I'll admit I haven't seen enough of Chubb to compare, but stats that gaudy don't lie. He's obviously a player. I'd still say Gurley was unreal. Do UGA fans think Chubb was or could be better than Gurley? I can't imagine that.

LF has greatly improved his vision and footwork from last year from what I've seen, and he could have a really amazing year. I'm sure NC can improve as well, so this should be fun to watch these guys this yr.

I won't even entertain the gumps. LF or Chubb would start over both their guys this season.

LSU was 109th out of 128. Georgia was 86th.

where are you getting those numbers?

Efficiency wise, Georgia was 9th in passing. LSU was 71st. Is that what you meant?

LSU fans are saying LF's yards weren't that good cause the QB'ing sucked...

Imma countering that our QB play was so good cause Chubb was such a beast that D's had to play 8 in the box & still couldn't stop him. If you watched any UGA games last year that what D's did, load the box to stop the run & dare Mason to throw, which he would do on passing downs. And when he did Mason completed damn near 70% of his passes cause teams were trying to stop Chubb & that let Mason do his lil 5yd pass thing...

Chubb and Fournette are both terrific but what blows me away is the realization that UGA was loaded with both Gurley and Chubb not to mention Sony Michel.

Gurley's running style was so amazing. Matt Stinchcomb compared Gurley's running style to a downhill skier. On those kickoff returns Todd looked like he was gliding through slaloms.

Return yardage? We're discussing running back play. And of course you won't entertain Bama fans, because the numbers aren't good for you.

I ducked out around page 4...are LSU fans still trying to say LF is just as good (or better) and using the fact that Miles didn't give him enough carries as an excuse?

LSU could have a comparable backfield in 2016. 2015, even, if Fournette makes the jump we expect and the new guys hit the ground running.

Comparable to Chubb and Gurley? No. Just no. Not even maybe.

So you do just keep your head up your arse all the time, or only when it comes to Bama football?

By the way, how was my link for the "experts" that do Heisman odds?

Fournette #3. Henry N/A

LF #12. Henry #14
