FWIW, I know the ad nauseam Big 10/Mizzou comments will never stop, but we really don't fit in there any better than we do in the SEC. SEC folks say we're too northern and Big 10 folks would say we're too Southern (laugh all you want but I hear it all the time in Big 10 land). We don't really fit either conference completely.

Believe me, Missouri has nothing in common with Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Maryland, or New Jersey. We'd be no better fit in the B1G than we are here, and quite frankly, I think most of us would rather associate with the SEC rather than the snobs in the B1G.

We are going to be talking about this until the end of time, aren't we?

We have plenty of fat people. We fit right in on that. We just come by our fat differently, because I don't see people put ranch dressing and gravy on near as many things in Missouri.

Missouri was part of the confederacy. They qualify. So did Texas and Oklahoma no matter how much they want to pretend they’re a “western” culture. TX, OK, and MO are agrarian, Christian, and have decent barbecue. Quit giving them crap.
