Fair or not, it's like the NCAA Basketball committee. They look at injuries and your last month of work maybe moreso than the entire body of work. If UF loses to FSU and Bama, especially in bad fashion, the Egg winner will be in the Sugar whether you like it or not.

That and the 500 people they brought to New Orleans in 2012. And that was to see a better Florida team led by a better coach.

Re-think your post and what I said.

He says UF has no impressive wins. With or without Grier - UF beat Ole Piss. But if Ole Piss wins, all of a sudden they deserve the Sugar Bowl. Makes no sense

I get that UF beat the breaks off Ole Miss. But when it comes down to how they are playing at the moment, you give the edge to State or Ole Miss. Very short memories in college football and they choose what's hot. UF is in easily if they just beat FSU. They control that destiny. But a bad loss coupled by what will almost certainly be a bad loss against Bama will cripple their chances.

I think if UF loses these next 2 games we don't deserve to go to the Sugar Bowl. I'd rather see OM or MSU my self and I'm a Gator fan. We have been winning ugly and struggling with a QB that has his head in his arse. I don't want to see the shite show I've seen the last few weeks in a major bowl game. Beat FSU or Bama then yes. Lose both and we might as well go to the weed eater bowl. Why get embarrassed in New Orleans too.

You are correct and that is what will happen. Win one UF in Sugar, win both maybe playoff but doubt it, lose both Citrus or Outback.

Hence, he's an idiot.

I don't care who "deserves" the Sugar Bowl or any other bowl. That's an existential question far beyond my knowledge or interest.

The fact is that if Alabama wins the SEC and goes to the Playoff, whichever SEC team is the next highest in the Committee's final rankings is going to the Sugar Bowl.

If Florida loses the next 2, it's probably going to be the Egg Bowl winner, even if Florida or LSU or Texas A&M fans feel slighted by it. Blame the Committee.

If we win the next 2 games we are 100% in the playoffs. That is not disputable.

However, the ability to win those 2 games are very slim. I think that's what you mean?

Florida and Bama loser will go to the sugar bowl if both are 11-1

You're a little late to the party. I don't think anyone e is arguing this. The discussion is who goes if UF loses out. Which looks like a strong possibility.

We lose out we should NOT go. Not sure why a Gator fan would dispute this? Just win and get in.
