And he is the least impressive Heisman winner of the past decade. Really tearing it up in the league ain't he?

He plays in a three-back system on a team which relies heavily on the pass. Despite that, he leads his team in rushing touchdowns.

And if we're going to talk about Heisman Trophy winners who haven't torn it up in the league, there are far better candidates from the recent history who have made little to no impact. Players such as Troy Smith, Chris Weinke, Vince Young, Eric Crouch, and Jason White.

Mark Ingram is one of the least offenders in the category of Heisman Trophy winners who weren't NFL Hall of Famers. Not to mention the fact that this is his rookie season.

I would say that 90% of touchdown runs are probably less than 7 yards in the country. Trent having 50% under 5 seems run of the mill.

50% of Trent's TDs are from 5 yards or more? Nice!

The stats can be twisted however people want when we start talking about percentages, etc. Where his touchdowns come from isn't that meaningful.

The guys has 1700 yards and 22 TDs playing in the SEC and he's been carrying the team. We would have had about 100 yards against LSU without him. The guy is Heisman worthy. There are some other guys at the top who are too.

Every candidate is flawed this year. Andrew Luck has played a terrible schedule and when he got a chance to shine against Oregon, he was awful. Weeden threw away a game versus Iowa State. Keenum has been great against garbage teams. RG3 has probably done the most with the least amount of talent around him, although they did get blown out by the Aggies. I honestly don't know who you give it to.
