John Vaughn wasn't that bad of a kicker but had the worst possible game against LSU in 05. Cost AU the game & the west that year...if I remember correctly?

Damon Duval was kinda flaky. I remember him nailing a clutch FG to beat Florida in '01, but I also remember him whiffing a chip shot FG in '02 (also against Florida) that would've won the game at the end of regulation, which Auburn ended up losing in OT...

Well definitely sounded like wind blowing in to the microphone on that video camera. You can clearly hear the wind along with look at Eddy P's jersey blowing while he stands still. It's still impressive to kick an 81 yd fg in practice.
Bet he could have kicked a scooter 50 yds too on that day.

The kid's grandpa is one of the biggest Bama boosters out there + former Bama player, his dad played sports at Bama and his mom was a cheerleader.
They practically begged for an offer and couldn't get one from Saban
