Oh yeah. The DL was fat out bad. Just terrible. How could a defense be so damn good (top 10) yet have such a putrid DL.

LSU's defense has digressed this year. As the teachings of Chavis grow more as a distant memory for your players, they get worse and worse.

there's a difference between putrid and dominant. LSU's DL was not dominant. and LSU's pass defense was outstanding last year. LSU's rush D was pretty average last year.

actually, LSU allows fewer rushing yards per game this year (135) and have 24 sacks in 10 games thus far. Last year, under Chavis and Brick, LSU gave up 152 yards per game on the ground and had 19 sacks in 13 games. But however you want to look at it I guess
