I thought the Tiger Rant was working on a deal where Bill Cowher would keep Coach O.

Would he even be able to communicate with the kids up there?

It will take them a year to understand what he is saying, let alone his scheme.

Yaw, yaw!

It would be like a team being coached by a drunken Ewok.

I think it's a good job for him. The expectations should be around the same as those at OM back when he was coaching there (obviously OM's expectations are a wee bit higher now, so he would even get the three years he got a second time around with the same performance.) He can prove he's learned from his mistakes and deserves a higher-profile job. Not USC, but something in the middle ranks of the Big 10 or ACC.

I can't blame Ed for looking around. His LSU dline appeared to wilt towards the end of the year.

You sound like Obama blaming Bush years later.

yep, no depth on the D'Line he inherited. But as to the OP, good for him. Can't expect a positional coach not to want to jump at a HC offer in a P5 conference, especially given Coach O's career

except it hasn't even been one year. O's only recruit is starting as a 240 pound freshman over all the guys Chavis and Brick brought in

Chavis doesn't recruit. He had LSU's DL dominate just 1 year ago.
