Problem is...that part wan't in his post. Comprehension. It matters.

What does it say that every other fan base has been very gracious (MUCH more than I expected), but many of the Gator fans have been negative?

Oh, I've said numerous times on here that UGA will be very good soon.

But its kinda funny when I see posts from your fans like in this thread after seeing all the shite you guys posted about UF's Spring Game

Thanks for being gracious. We all know that Florida/Georgia are huge rivals and most fans of either fan base might denigrate the others players. You rose above it.

Same for CJM.

I honestly didn't see any of our fans post about your game.....but I am not doubting that it didn't happen.
I think a lot of our guys are just hoping we can show the kind of improvement you guys did in year one of a new coach. I like a strong Florida and Tennessee, team. Makes for some great games and a strong SEC East. Here's hoping for continued improvement for all three teams!

Objectively, Tennessee should be the favorite.

They have the most experienced and talented roster this year.

And they better win it because UF and UGA will be loaded in 2017.

Agreed on both counts. However, if they falter, I think Florida will be there to scoop up another east title. We are still a year or two away, imo....but we can hope for a miracle.

Georgia might be a year or two away, but it looks like they have started assembling all the pieces they need.

I would still favor Tenn this year, but I could see GA winning the East if they get a few breaks.

This should almost always be the case as our respective states hold the vast majority of the talent in the region. It's kind of rough that Tenn. basically has a 1 year window to get it done this year. I can't imagine how loaded UGA/UF will be 2017 and beyond.

It would be nice to think that. I was a big Richt booster, but it just came to the point, that it looked as if he could not quite get us over the hump. Hopefully, Smart can do that for us. Only time will tell. I thought Muschamp would do BIG things at Florida, too.

After last year, I thought Auburn would finish 6th this coming season, but we all know that when you count Auburn down they tend to rise up and have a big year. So, this could be a very big year for the Barn!

(That was not meant in a bad way, either)

It's possible. Big advantage that we have them at home and we had a real close game last season. They just have depth and experience, though, so we'll have to wait and see. I am excited BIG time about the Florida and the Tennessee games this year. They will tell us how close to contending we are. (The Ole Miss game will, too)

You really have to hand it to Tennessee, though. They pretty much have to go outside their state (Which is tough) to get top notch talent, yet they have managed in the past to be a major player for titles.

Most UGA fans (Even on this board) predict a 3rd place finish for us. And...most of us also predict Tennessee to finish first, soooooo...

Not sure why. If we're going with the paper argument the East should be between UT and UGA with UF in third. UGA didn't suddenly become talentless despite changing coaches.

Would end up being the closest thing we could have this season to Saban coming into Athens and beating a top ranked UGA team in 2008. We might not go on to win or even play for the SECCG, but it would signify a lot for this program to get that kind of signature win against what is likely to be a favored division rival early in Smart's HC career.

UGA will literally have a Junior or Senior starting at almost every position on defense in 2017. Will be mostly sophomores and juniors on offense with a few seniors on the line.

2017 could be a turning point in the conference for the East

Watching Eason, MacIlwain, Buechle? At UT and others perform so well in spring makes me truly appreciate how good our quarterback situation is. We have the option of red shirting the kid that is far and away the best QB in that class. Feels good.
