Ace Atkins - author

Joe Forehand - Chairman, Accenture
Charles Barkley - One time Alabama gubernatorial candidate

True

Flores is ridiculous but left him off & other O&G guys (Cook's, Taylor's, Bernhards, etc) because I figured the common folk had unlikely heard of them or their companies. But also, for example, Anadarko VP & the CEO/founder of Houston Energy are LSU grads too.

Just so we're clear, I grew up in an OM-heavy family, so it's all in loving jest.

We have some good one here to choose from.

Hootie and the Blowfish...all of them.

or

William "Hootie" Johnson 1953 chairman of the executive committee of Bank of America and former chairman of the Augusta National Golf Club

Robert C. McNair 1958 owner of NFL franchise Houston Texans

Larry Kellner 1981 chairman of the board and CEO of Continental Airlines

Jacob Shuford 1974 admiral and current president of the United States Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island, 2004 to present

Glenn Tilton 1970 chairman, president, and chief executive officer of United Airlines

How about Darla Moore (Rainwater), Gary M. Parsons (XM Radio), Buck Mikel (Fluor Daniel), David Holl (Mary Kay) ...

I mean honestly, our Distinguished Service Award Winners are like the who's who of American Business.

But then, we do have the #1 International Business School and probably the finest Business School in the South.
