Apparently he was involved in the Felony Four incident, from what I was told. Coaches knew about it.

Pretty sure that was a bs rumor. He wouldn't have played all year and then been suspended if that were the case.

I think that was known or at least alleged for a while now. Seems it may have truth to it.

Like I said, heard it from someone at the university, not just message board BS.

Who likely read it on the internet.

Doesn't make sense that he would play all year only to be suspended before the bowl game if that was the problem.

Who gives a frick. He's a football player and a 20 yr old. Give him a chance. If its his attitude, then say it, but a couple of frick ups comes with being young and dumb. And if he did some bad shite, why would Malzahn want him on his team? shite ain't adding up.

It doesnt matter to me one way or another but from what Chizik said in all of his comments about the situation, I would go out on a limb and say "He gives a frick".

Yeah, I'm not buying that gun shite. He was probably pissed Chizik cut his playing time because of weed.

I can guarantee you that's not the case.

I heard about it during the season, said they'd be surprised to see him back next season. Also mentioned the drug problems, and an attitude problem. This isn't just internet rumors.

I was meaning I don't give a frick if he smokes weed. I'm pissed no one will say what's going on.

So they knew all year he was involved in an armed robbery and used illegal drugs and figured "let's just let him play and suspend him for the bowl game?"

I'll just wait and see, but I think, as of now, he will be back. That is just how the world generally works. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go, but I don't think a decision has been made yet. I think Chiz gives him a chance to earn his way back and I think he takes it because he doesn't have another, better option.

ETA: Clearly something happened between the iron bowl and the bowl game that was completely unrelated to the felony 4.

If it was about the gun, I'm sure the cops would've been involved. That would've been dumb to let him play all year, then drop him before the bowl game.

I really don't have an answer to that. Just saying what I heard well before any of this came to light.

Well let's put it this way. He has done something bad enough to be suspended and taken off the roster. Someone close to the Dyer family told Scott Reaves it cannot be fixed.

Who knows? It is a sad time for sure. It really sucks imo.

I never put too much weight into anything on the webz. I am just providing texted info about Dyer on the Dyer thread. I am not that gullible yet. Give me another 25 years then maybe you can get me to send 1000.00 to win 100,000.00.
