Or was it because Blake missed several games due to injury?

Blake was not on the road to have Darvin's stats even before the injury.

I'm not necessarily responding to this rumor. This really isn't a happy marriage right now. Lots of moving parts. I don't know what Dyer did but I and everyone else I talk to get the feeling it's a bit more than a weed or synthetic issue.

Up state penitentiary league?

ASU puts a lot of people into NFL camps every year. Gus will turn them into something special.

I have no problem with him staying.

Got no problem if he decides to leave.

I'm all Doris Day about it.

No, but the injury didn't help his stats. I understand the point you are making about OMAC, and can't blame the kid if he goes pro.

Well, yeah, I can't refute you there.

@AUSportTalk: After speaking with those close to the Dyer family, things can't be worked out for Mike at Auburn and he does indeed plan to transfer.

Auburn, Arkansas State spokesmen say they are not aware of Dyer filing transfer papers

Rumors that Auburn running back Michael Dyer plans to transfer to Arkansas State surfaced again Wednesday, although there have been conflicting reports from media outlets.

Both an Auburn spokesman and an Arkansas State spokesman said Wednesday afternoon that they had not heard anything about Dyer, who was suspended indefinitely by the Tigers last month for a violation of team rules, filing transfer paperwork at Arkansas State. Former Auburn offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn was hired as Arkansas State’s head coach last month

Conflicting reports from the media surfaced Wednesday afternoon. NationalFootballAuthority.com reported Wednesday that Dyer has already filed paperwork to transfer to Arkansas State. AuburnUndercover.com reported that Dyer plans to transfer and has not received a release from Auburn.

On the other hand, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reporter Matt Harris tweeted that the rumor about Dyer’s paperwork is “bunk.”

I'll pop in from time to time just as a reminder:
Dyer won't be playing football for Arkansas State or Aubrn. He is in alot of trouble right now and Sports/academics cannot fix it.
