pretty sure that we Ohio state fans can lay claim to naming him Bert...Tony Gerdman from O-Zone to be exact.
bert had a thing for Ohio State. The biggest thing was he couldn't beat them. He was 1-3 as a player at Iowa and 1-4 as a coach.
He couldn't out recruit OSU and always made claims of 'unfair'. Then his Wisky teams went on a tear in the bowls and lost 3 Rose Bowls in a row and 2-5 in all.
Then bert left and bad mouthed the B10..and became dillusional to the point where he claims he has a better chance beating Bama, Auburn, LSU, etc. than he did beating OSU.
IOW..he pulled a Bert.
