Did Les do anything to impress you, maybe clock management or something

He can certainly talk the talk and I hope he can walk to walk too. All in all he is off to a good start now lets see the staff he build and what he can do before signing day (not that I expect a miracle) those are the next steps for him.

Darth Dooley was a very good hire, IMO. He's going to do things the right way and build something the Vols can be proud of. He's going to need some time to do it, though.

Yep. I wonder if the VolNation will give him the four or five years it may take for him to fully prove what he can do.

I don't think we are quite at the point of being able to take shots at other schools yet.

Not trying to cheap shot Les but I'd trade Tenn straight-up tonight - Les for DD.

Truth be known most Tiger fans would be more excited about the future with DD as our coach than with Les.

Les is proving himself as an A+ recruiter and a class act but that's about all the positives at present.

I like Dooley, but I was dissapointed in Tech this year. He may well be the next big thing. I wish him luck.

If he took that Neville QB with him into signing day a Tenn this season, he would have a new fan.

I don't think Saban ever went 4-8 in his 3rd year or any year but good luck.

Saban never coached at LaTech with the most injured team in FBS. Dooley is a promising hire.

Dooley>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kiffricktard.

I keep watching and rewatching his press conference but cannot find the part where he says he will be singing "Rocky Top" all night long after beating Florida.

Congrats Vols, looks like you've brought some class back into Knoxville!

Everything about him screamed Saban.

Saban is a fantastic coach, no doubt. But Dooley seems more genuine... more of a "player's coach", if you will. Kind of like Chizik.

Saban had a pretty mediorcre record before LSU , IIRC.

Dude is Saban Jr., i hope....

Saban has never had a losing season as a college coach. Not even at Toledo or Michigan State. I think Dooley is going to do good, but Saban he is not.

He's a good hire, no matter what anyone else might say. I've been impressed with him from the beginning, and I always knew it was just a matter of time until he was coaching in the SEC.

Grats Vols!
