The stats validate. This was just a warning. If you blitz the high school All American, he will beat you down like Tyson. The int btw bounced off the receivers hands. So he should be 27-27. Luckily, Missouri can stop worrying after half time about Grier destroying them. Like Ole Miss, we will just be running out the clock by then.

always one of you that can't stand a little success. You barely beat three below average teams leading up to the game, and then beat a highly overrated OM team that doesn't have an OL, running game, QB, and their defense is suspect despite them claiming it great (Alabama put up 500 yards despite 5 turnovers....VANDY put up 21 first downs on them).

There is a reason you will be close to a double digit underdog in BR.

Absolutely delusional.

I love how the narrative changes from week to week.

After the Bama game, people said Ole Miss was going to run the table and go to the Playoff and that they are for real.

After Florida beat the dogshit out of them, it's because they were overrated and it really wasn't all that impressive.

So go ahead and tell me now: Is LSU overrated? Because I don't want to hear that excuse IF Florida goes into Death Valley and beats LSU in two weeks.

Welcome to the Rant. It's the same for every team. You're not special.

LSU has a few issues...but so does everyone.

I never said or thought Ole Miss was real. That's their bs they spew. They beat a glorified highschool team in Tenn Martin, a junior college in Fresno, struggled mightily with Vandy, and despite getting 5 turnovers and a fluke td that could easily have been a pick 6....they still barely beat a bama team that played awful. Actually I had loaded up on Florida that game...your strength was their supposed strength, and your weakness is something they couldn't exploit (power running game).

I'm sure the game will be a good one, it usually is no matter what. But our strength is your weakness...and it will be exploited....and LSU is at home at night. Like I said, there is a reason that Vegas has LSU a 9.5 pt favorite right now in the game....and a lot of people are loading up on Florida......seems like a trap to me. Hey...I hope LSU meets you twice this year....but you will have your hands full with Georgia as well.

Mizzou has a great Dline and can apply pressure with 4. Will be interesting to see how he responds.
I don't think Florida will find themselves in a lot of third and long situations. Taylor is proving that he should be considered as one of the top backs in the SEC. Very versatile and can hurt a defense in a lot of ways. Nuss will use him to exploit what Mizzou lacks on defense.

Curious. I know what I think we lack on defense. What do you think we lack on defense?

I for one hope Florida beats the tigershite out of Missouri. Should be a very good day of college football in 2 weeks.....Bama/A&M early, then undefeated Florida at LSU at night.

Mizzou doesn't seem to tackle very well in space for starters. The lbs are sub par at best, but have seen serviceable at times. The secondary hasn't looked flat out terrible, but the only good passing attack they have seen is Kentucky's so......

What in particular is bad about Florida? Admitted, they have looked shaky earlier in the season, but Saturday's performance was on point. Good play in the secondary, running game, passing game and run defense will win you some games, a lot of games. I guess the thing to wait and see is if they can keep it up.

While being a new player has its disadvantages. It also has its advantages too. Coaches don't exactly know how to attacked Grier and or this new Gator coaching staff yet. This is a plus, and if a QB has got the goods, the unknown is a weapon.

Once coaches watch enough SEC film on any QB, OL, DL, CB, or other players, their job could become harder to do. Time will tell and sustained success in any league is a chore. All eyes are upon you then!

Running backs haven't done much of anything against us. The only time we've been hurt in the running game, which hasn't been often, has been with the QB run.

I doubt Florida finds much success on the ground either. Which should lead to some obvious passing downs and we don't have to blitz to get pressure.

We are going to cause Florida several problems on offense as well.

Setting aside the Jim Rome, internet-message-board-tough-guy-smack-talk BS, it will be Grier's biggest challenge as a player, and Mac's biggest challenge as a Head Coach to date trying to play-and be successful and productive-in that environment.

Especially now that we know it'll be at 6pm instead of 2:30...

Let's try to do this without pissing on each other today.

I honestly don't know so I'm asking.

The teams you've faced, are they good rushing teams? This isn't a flame because we aren't tearing it up in the running game but I do think we arguably or maybe not so arguably depending on who you are, have the best RBs you've faced so far.

I guess the point is, there are so many unknowns still and that's all due to the front loading of your cupcakes. You guys, I've learned, are really hard to judge early in the year.

What good running attacks has Mizzou faced? Its one of those chicken and egg situations, much like Georgia against Bama. No one knew which side would have an outright advantage because neither side had faced opposition as good as the other.

We tackle quite well in space. That's one of our biggest strengths. As for the LBs, Brothers is one of the best LBs in the country and a sure fire 1st team All SEC guy at this point. Scherer had 100+ tackles last year and is pacing that again. Newsome is a top shelf athlete and is turning more of that into production this year. That's an incredibly strong unit.

You and Jesus should have had a meeting about tackling in space.
