Cause he will freaking destroy you.
"On the season, Grier is 26-of-27 for 302 yards and four touchdowns with one interception and three sacks against the blitz." - Per Aschoff at ESPN

Mizzou has a great Dline and can apply pressure with 4. Will be interesting to see how he responds.

This thread seeking validation for Grier is very needy of you.

The stats validate. This was just a warning. If you blitz the high school All American, he will beat you down like Tyson. The int btw bounced off the receivers hands. So he should be 27-27. Luckily, Missouri can stop worrying after half time about Grier destroying them. Like Ole Miss, we will just be running out the clock by then.

Bowling Green threw on Tennessee's Secondary. Shredded them on the fade route over and over actually. Against Ole Miss, the Secondary was missing it's most important piece in Safety Tony Conner.
So hey, the stats look fantastic versus teams that are injury depleted or suspect to begin with. Grier is maturing quickly and Nuss and Mac are obviously returning the investment early on. Maybe even perhaps earlier than Gator Fans even expected or could hope to expect for.
But make no mistake, if LSU remains healthy coming out of Saturday's tilt, we will be the most complete Secondary you've faced up to this juncture. We will be the most complete Secondary you face the rest of the year for that matter.
Beyond that, we have already generated over 50% of our season sack total last year in just less than a third of the games this year. Which makes our Secondary and defense overall even better versus the Pass.
Am I saying you're going to throw for 68 yards and 3 picks? No...We'll leave the sub 100 yard passing yardage totals to LSU QB's LOL. But what I am saying is don't be surprised if you take a step back towards Earth versus LSU.
We are much more talented on Defense than anything you've faced. Oh...and this ain't the Swamp, either.

Good to hear because we typically don't get any pressure on the QB. We will confuse him.

Maybe bc he didn't get passes off on the other plays.

Sacks count as running play in CFB.
