In order to cement his legacy as one of the greatest backs the SEC and college have ever seen?
The reason I ask is because from a pure numbers standpoint he is already one of the all-time greats.

Here is a comparison with what I consider the greatest athlete of our generation Bo Jackson as well as other great college backs from our generation.

Bo Jackson
Att Yards Avg TD
676 4575 6.8 45

Todd Gurley
Att Yards Avg TD
545 3758 6.9 41

Darren Mcfadden
Att Yards Avg TD
831 4955 6.0 43

Trent Richardson
Att Yards Avg TD
608 3860 6.3 42

Adrian Peterson
Att Yards Avg TD
772 4239 5.5 42

Mark Ingram
Att Yards Avg TD
632 3931 6.2 46

Optimus Prime
Att Yards Avg TD
994 5259 5.3 49

He certainly needs to win something besides the WLOCP.

In order to prevent an UGA meltdown?

Yes.

He could have been one of the greatest if he were in better shape. Unfortunately he'll always be known for having to come out of the game every other snap.

So then McFadden should be off that list as well then.

You mean the guy who got 45 yards in 24 carries against the only real defense he's faced this year? Yea, I'd take him too.

Fortunately his QB rating of 520.00 is the highest in CFB

Vandy game.

I forget that Vandy is a tough game in the East. All I'm saying is that years from now nobody will remember the stats, but everyone will remember him huffing, puffing, and patting his helmet to come out of games. If he went to a better program he would be one of the best ever.
