If gurley can't stay healthy against the florida atlantics of the world how's he gonna fair against the steelers? I wouldn't want him on my team thats all Im saying. I don't like players who ask off the field and miss games for a hangnail

Wasn't meant to be a troll thread. I was just wondering about his legacy considering his numbers are on par with Bo Jackson and better than former Heisman winners.

hangnails hurt your fingers... hurt fingers lead to fumbles... I prefer my players not to fumble, thus I would respect his decision not to play because of a hangnail

It has been a motivating factor for him though. Silver linings.

Unfortunately, unless you're competing for titles or you go on to professional/commercial success, good athletes like Gurley fade out some.

Story is written on him yet, so I'm not saying he can't be a legend, but for an exceptional athlete at the top of a lot of Heisman lists, he's still kind of flying under the radar as much as is possible. UGA's potential for a mediocre season and the SECE are to blame, for that, but we'll see.

Are you kidding? Gurley is the not and never will be in the same galaxy as Bo. Gurley has really just taken advantage of playing against the shite teams in the east

It really is amazing. I think a lot of folks, included me, thought something would happen to derail Gurley's run, injury, simply collapse of the offense, whatever.

I didn't think it'd be this, but I'm not surprised something happened.

Thing is this will forever tarnish the second best back in UGA's history. That probably hurts UGA fans just as much.
