So it wasn't that he was "wrong", as you originally said, you just didn't like the tone of his reporting? Get over it. You should always read articles for the facts and try to ignore any bias.

For the present article, Forde has revealed the NCAA is granting immunity to players at other schools to ask about UMiss recruiting. That's really all we should glean from that. Could be those interviews reveal nothing new and result in zero additional allegations, but its still more information that we all had before.

There's no reason to whine about Forde hurting your widdle feewings six years ago, because the reported facts were true.

I do believe the tenor and nature of the reporting was wrong...that is why I stated it.

Forde is unprofessional in his approach...his record reflects it. It is possible to report the info without stoking fires that don't exist.

I'm with you Dawg. I think OM will will 24 to 20. Jimbo team's are notorious for starting slow and OM Dline will shut down Cook.

The reason you didn't like Forde's tone, was because you didn't like the facts he was reporting.

Now you say "he got so much wrong on Cam" that you don't think UMiss should worry about the current article, even though you can't point to any facts he got wrong on the Cam situation and say it was just the "tone and nature of his reporting."

His current article on the Rebels just states facts. You could question the timing of the article, I guess, but he says the interviews took place within the last month. There's no bias or slant in his article.

I don't give a shite about Pat Forde, but you're suggesting his facts are wrong just because he rustled your jimmies six years ago....

You are saying that Cam incident was not a technical NCAA violation that the Dad took the $$$$$, as long as junior was unawares. Accordingly, same result as Tunsils stepdad taking the $800 and free hotel rooms?

You could question the timing of the article,

Forde actually did Freeze and OM a huge favor by waiting until after Media Days to publish the article.

I kind of wish he would have released it an hour or two before Hugh took the podium.

Forde will drum up whatever negativity he can about Ole Miss because it steers the national conversation away from the appalling hooker scandal and FBI money embezzlement investigation Louisville is currently under. What Ole Miss did compared to Louisville is child's play. It's all about trying to change the news cycle. The shite Louisville has going on is as disgusting as it gets. Don't ever forget that.

They never could prove that Cecil's dad took money. If they had proven that Cecil got paid by either MSU or Auburn, then Cam would have been ruled ineligible. They could only prove that Cecil ASKED for money. Of course, if Cam had asked for money, or had authorized Cecil asking for money, then that also would have been a violation.

Also, Cecil asking for money was a violation of the SEC Bylaws, but Mike Slive just decided not to enforce that provision.

I can tell by the tenor of your post you don't think for yourself much, but again Forde in the nature of his reporting is wrong.

You are also categorically wrong about the assertion you make concerning the SEC By-laws. Here's a Forbes article to help you understand.

Overrated are u fkin stupid ? They won 10 last year and return every starter on offense and have NFL talent all over the defensive side of the ball. Don't talk out of your arse unless u know what your Talkn about. Can ole miss win sure. I hope the sec wins em all. It just helps our teams soc if we beats a division foe who's beaten top ooc teams. But to say FSU is overrated isn't smart. Ole miss is facing a very good football team.

If Ole Miss is actually paying recruits to visit, which sure seems to be the case, that is some serious cheating. You are endangering the kid's eligibility. It needs to stop.

If they changed the rule, what about the money Leonard Fournette's family has taken?
