Fournette is an awesome back and I'd never try to argue otherwise but if he can come into Bryant Denny and singlehandedly beat an Alabama team that is geared to stopping him alone, they should gift wrap the Heisman and present it to him at the fifty after the game.

I honestly believe this is what happens. His Heisman Moment happens Saturday night.

60 yrs on 22 carries. Bama is built to stop lf7

Yeah, just like they were built to stop Ezekial Elliot.

When Jalen Hurd makes your linebackers look slow getting to the edge, then your defense is not built to stop Fournette.

I'm not saying that there won't be a passing threat because I think there will be and I think it will keep Bama relatively honest in trying to defend Fournette.

What I said earlier was that Harris is going to have to be on top of his game and the receivers to for that matter. Otherwise Bama will start stacking the box. This is not an insult to LSU or Fournette.

Chubb went for ~150 so I'll say over pretty easily

If LSU wins, Fournette will have had a big night. I agree that he would deserve the Heisman hands down. He probably already does honestly.

Under.

He will get 150+ in the first half and won't play past the 1st series in the third quarter.

The team will rush for over 325.

MSU is 58th in NCAA and allows almost 162.00 per game genius. LMAO.
Yeah that's 162 per game per team. Fournette had 157 by himself genius

Chubb had 20 carries. One of them went for 83 yards. On the other 19, he averaged 3.3 ypc.

Fournette might go over but I'd be surprised if it was pretty easily.

Chubb had one run of about 70 yards and was pretty much shut down outside of that.

Exactly. Only three/four yard carries count towards total rushing yardage. My better statistical system only has Fournette with 678 yards on the season and finishing 19th in Heisman voting. RMFTR, pawwwwl.

Well, when you consider that his long run came in the 3rd quarter after they were already losing by 30 or so, I'd say it doesn't really matter.

And thennn the counter to that is Lambert sucks and offers no passing threat and UGA's OL is not as good as LSU's, and Harris is also a reasonable threat to run on designed plays and the read-option...

What's up with LSU fans and their opinions of how many carries LF will get? Every week y'all have a thread predicting it and every week 80% of y'all guess 12 or 13

162 on 24 carries would be doing work, though. Hope you're wrong.
