Judging by his posts, he may have a pretty severe learning disability.

He can definitely bust a long run or two. Bama's safeties are somewhat different from years past. I would hesitate to call them ballhawks (more like incredibly well coached and disciplined in coverage), but they are definitely more coverage-focused. However, they are not as good in run support as they have been traditionally. The reason Fournette never broke off a huge run in UF was that Keanu Neal, who might be the best run support safety in CFB, was all over the field.

35 carries, like the OP says, is a lot and may be a bit high, but that many iterations will increase the likelihood of our OL and FB getting the better of a Front 7 on a play, no matter how good it may be.

Total yards =/= an average.

Jesus you're dumb....

Not to mention Florida was higher before they played LSU.

Weird how that works.

I just think with the expected rain in Tuscaloosa, lsu may not throw at all. It'll be the fournette show with guice getting the occasional carry. I can see fournette breaking a couple of 30 yard runs and averaging around 4-5 ypc on 35+ attempts. It's not that difficult to see him going for more than 180.

Riiiight, you two can't discern that the 309.1 is your average rushing per game for 7 games. Yikes.

Harris attempted 20 passes against WKU, in a downpoor. That was his 2nd highest total on the season....

He also had his highest yardage total.

Williams has more carries than Guice. He will get touches as well.

I highly doubt Fournette get 30 carries, much less 35.

I say over. Probably on something like 35 attempts.

35 attempts if LSU runs 90+ plays. MAYBE

Kind of what we thought too but Harris did throw 20 times in the pouring rain against WKU. Bama is a different animal though

Guice is talented but he has zero vision. I doubt if he does anything of note. Darrel Williams is the one Bama should worry about

Darrel Williams goes down with a stiff breeze though. Hes had plenty of chances to break a big run and someone swats at his cleats and he goes down

LF gets 225 Saturday night with JDM back. He is the difference maker. Add three touchdowns to that.

Using Florida stats adjusted to Bama,

first of all, Florida's defense is ever bit as good as bama's so this "adjustment" you speak of is just your inner aggy hoping and praying.

secondly, LSU has shown that it is perfectly willing and able to use Fournette as a decoy in order to move the chains. while I would love Fournette to amass lots of yards I would much rather LSU win, no matter who gets the yardage.

lastly, it isn't about the yardage; it's about the points scored and the points allowed. sometimes I don't think you aggies will ever figure that out.

Harris is going to have to be on top of his game for Fournette to sniff 120 yards. LSU is going to have to be balanced or Fournette is going to have his worst game of the season by far.

strongly feel that the gator D and Bama d are about the same this year. Bama Lbs better. Gator 2ndary better. the line is a wash.

Couldn't be more wrong. The secondaries are a wash at best, Bama is better on the line and at linebacker. We've got two first round defensive tackles for christs sakes
