Cal has always had incredible classes. How's that worked out in the long run? I think Cal doesn't develop his talent (granted they don't stay long enough), is a poor in game coach and his teams could care less about the free throw line.

Last year may have been more of an anomaly...

C'mon man...you know UK will be back next season. That's why we had to win the conference this year.

Let's see which one gets vacated first... LOL

Just busting your chops. I think last years team was special and came together as a team. But just having talent doesn't equal winning teams. I think UF will be a better team next year as well. We shall see.

Let's see, since at Kentucky, an Elite 8...Final 4...and a Natty. This year, meh. I'll take it. And you think we will be down next year, then I hate to disappoint you.

Hate to break it to you, but if we get either Randle or Wiggins...we go 40-0.

We will be just nasty next year.

But, still, The Munster stays in Gainesville. They could make a Final 4 run this year.

I dont know

But IMO he is by far the best coach in the SEC.

No offense to Cal or anyone else.

Guy just gets it done every year. Sold teams.

Wish he had went to Orlando Magic.

Is it me or does it seem like he has beaten Alabama worse than a red-headed step child during his tenure at Florida? (even more so than LSU)

I remember we got blown out by Bama in the first round of the SEC tourney the year after our NC run. It killed our NCAA tourney chances.

What has Calipari done to make him the best coach in SEC history? He gets crazy recruits every year and has still only won one title at one of the two or three biggest basketball schools in the country.

Donovan has turned Florida into a consistent basketball power, and he has two titles.

I don't thin it's even close. Calipari is a great recruiter, but he's nowhere near the coach that Donovan is.

I think he retires from UF, but I also think he is line some day to be the US team coach. He is the U-19 coach now and has a lot of success, I wouldn't doubt if he gets the big job some day.
