Since they joined the league in the early 1990s, they have never exactly lit the world on fire in the recruiting realm
I actually think they perform pretty damn good considering what they have to work with. More years than not Arkansas is never an easy game for LSU....

Tom Rathmann and Todd McLure both sat behind me in Freshman Chemistry in 1996.
They were looking to do anything to cheat/get ahead. It was comical.

It is pretty astonishing and even a statistical anomaly for this basketball program to not have won an SEC Tournament in 32 seasons. Even worse, is the SEC top to bottom has not been one of the more prestigious basketball conferences during the duration of that span.

How does anyone see their recovery taking shape?
History shows Auburn generally does not stay down for long.
LSU went from a 1 conference win team in 99 to Conference Champion 2 years later in 2001, so quick turnarounds in this league are not unheard of....
