Well yea. But there usually is that one school that the fanbase will point to as the big game. Like texas has OU, USC Has ND, LSU has LSU

I told another Bama fan earlier that if Tennessee was close to healthy, I think we could definitely stand toe to toe with you guys. But holy shite, we are down at least 7 starters right now and had third stringers and true freshmen on defense again A&M in the second half. I just don't see it right now

It's also a regional hate. People in Mobile hate Auburn more, in North Alabama, you get much more Tennessee hatred.

A lot of it has to do with where you are from. If you are from North Alabama and were born at any point before 1990 I'd be shocked if Tennessee wasn't at the very least 1B.
Lots of Tennessee people up there and lots of Alabama people in Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga and Middle Tennessee.

I always wanted Bama to beat UT more than any other team growing up, but that is most likely because we moved from Alabama to Tennessee when I was young
