It was a rivalry but its not as big as it used to be, they play a home and home about every decade.

Maybe if you don't count the teams with an ACC rival

This!

Florida has FSU every year and Miami every few years
SC has Taters every year and a second ACC in many years
Kentucky has Louisville every year and a second school less often
Georgia has Tech every year and a second school like Clemson often

LSU gets credit for beating the Big East and PAC champs in the regular season in games played outside the confines of LA.

Tide had a fairly regular series with Penn State

We got robbed of one. Clemson only won one because you cheated. That title would be vacated in today's game.

Maybe you've heard of a guy named Bo Jackson?

Yea,thank God the Aubbies weren't cheating their asses off in the '80's

You've heard of a guy named Eric Ramsey?

de do you realize Clemson plays in the ACC?

Maryland won 3 straight ACC titles in the 80s. Duke and Virginia split another one. The ACC sucks arse now, but they were even worse back then.

says a guy who plays in a one team conference that hasn't seem to discover the forward pass yet. the ACC beat SEC on the field this year.

your assumption seems to be that those Maryland, Duke, UVA teams were not any good simply because the programs have been great recently. kind of dumb.

The SEC has a lot more championship contending teams, talented players, drafted players, national championships in the "modern era," money, and power than the ACC could dream of.

ok, whatever you say. Meyers and Saban account for most of the SEC recent titles, and playoff system is likely to reduce the frequency of a SEC winning the title. So far, only 1 SEC title winner in the 3 years of the playoffs.

right now, i don't thnk you can say the SEC is better than ACC. last season, ACC was better. it changes from year to year.

i agreee SEC was better pre ACC expansion.

SEC has been down last couple of years with the exception of Bama but the SEC has dominated college football this century. Your a fool if you say otherwise

ok, i don't talk about sports in terms of conferences. SEC doesn't play on the field, only teams do.

SEC had more national champs, but that isn't proof it was better league across the board in those seasons. i dn't give credit to the conference for a individual program's success.

When I say ACC was better this year, I'm not referring to fact Clemson won the title.

i don't understand why you guys are so isnistent that SEC is better. you not goign to get a trophy for it even if true.

Florida does not have Miami often. They're too scared to play us. We should play at least every 4 yrs. But now that Foley is gone maybe they'll be more willing to have a non con road game without the BS that they have to save money 5 yrs ahead of time to do it.

If I were to rank it:
1. LSU
2. Texas A&M
3. Auburn
4. UGA
5. UF
6. South Carolina
7. Alabama
Then the rest.

Bama doesn't play on the road anymore

UT tried to schedule a home and home but had to settle for a lesser SEC opponent in LSU

I couldn't follow the chain of responses. Ranking of what exactly? OOC schedules in the SEC for 2017?

Just kind of a general ranking of the strength of each teams OOC scheduling in the recent past and what they have lined up in the future.

and I don't know why it posted twice or how to delete it.

I'm guessing Alabama's games aside from major opening matchups drag your overall ranking down?

You never play anyone in their home stadium
anymore
You schedule neutral site games in stadium that will
naturally favor Bama
