the probation was due to boosters offering some gifts or something to two recruits in TN who never played at Clemson.

the ACC tacked on another year, the same ACC who has done nothing to UNC after the academic scandal there.

We got robbed of one. Clemson only won one because you cheated. That title would be vacated in today's game.

Maybe you've heard of a guy named Bo Jackson?

I see Auburn listed in the 80's jut not Clemson. Interesting

i know it was scheduled by the league but Clemson plays a P5 if not.

how often does LSU play two P5 teams OOC in regular season?

I see what you are saying but regardless, South Carolina is in in-state rivalry. That game is automatic each year. Just like FSU and UF. Most people view these games as a rivalry game and not some OOC game against a P5 opponent.

still, i don't think CLemson is required to play another P5 team in addition to SC. i think they deserve credit for doing it.

i think they were all close games. war

the reason why you hear UGA and CLemson is a rivalry in football is because of those games in the 80s.

and Clemson's defeat of UGA kept them from winning the natty that year. so Clemson has kept both UGA and Bama from winning a natty. that is almost better than winning it. lol

I'm sure those were was great games but UGA has dominated Clemson over their history.

From ESPN, the sports website of record (when they actually talk about sports rather than politics)

'Clemson went 87-25-4 in the 1980s. It had the fifth-highest winning percentage (.767) in college football during that decade. It never had a losing season under coach Danny Ford and had five ACC titles and seven top-20 finishes. Clemson also claimed its only national championship in 1981.'

About how UGA was 4-3-1 against Clemson? I guess it is surprising that they only were 1 game over .500 v Clemson

is 4-3-1 domination? lol

sounds competitive to me.

so what does that make Auburn 0-3 against Clemson in the last 3.

You said to ask UGA about Clemson in the 80s. Not sure why, they bested you in your own best decade

If Auburn played Clemson in the 80s we'd have an even bigger series lead

Maybe he should ask UGA about Auburn in the 80s since we actually had a winning record against them, 6-4

Clemson's been better than both UGA and AUburn this decade. all i care about is right now , homey.

clemson and auburn didn't play in 80s so you can't say auburn would win games b/t the two in the 80s, simply b/c AUburn beat less talented teams in other decades.

how often does an Auburn douchebag hear anything about Clemson period.

i don't think people outside of AUburn sitting around amazed by Auburn football. you have an occasional good team.

lol wut?

Dude do you realize Clemson plays in the ACC?

Maryland won 3 straight ACC titles in the 80s. Duke and Virginia split another one. The ACC sucks arse now, but they were even worse back then.

Huh?Perhaps UGA's biggest rival in the 80's especially '80 to '86.

Obviously not so much since expansion.
